Tracks in snow

Ski tracks that I made yesterday

Sun setting over ball field

Vapour trail, the plane is going towards the clouds

Mostly sunny with light wind, low temp was -12 and a low of -5. It was -8 when I was Skiing.
I was to the town office in morning to wish them a Happy New Year. In the afternoon I was skiing for 90 minutes and skied 5 km ( as indicated by the GPS unit). At 7:10 there was fire works in Victoria Park, we watched them from across the harbour in York Point.
10 km on EB in morning.
And to all the readers of this blog, Happy New Year and all the best in 2010.

  2. Happy New Year!!!

You know, when you mentioned that you thought about biking across Canada, that also came to mind! My only challenge is the dogs! But RV-ing would be the ideal method, I've been looking through the UsedPEI and Buy/Sell pages, and there are lots for sale. My final decision will be made at the end of April - whether I can afford the RV or not. If not, I'll be tent and cabin camping along the way! I'm hoping to go from Newfoundland to the Yukon and back! Although the more brochures and travel guides I read, the more I realize 5 months isn't anywhere near long enough!

I met a man in the summer of 2008 when I was still in Orford. He was a retired school teacher, and he was actually biking across Canada. We only chatted for a few minutes when our paths crossed on one of the trails, but that got me thinking about it! If you have any tips or suggestions on what to see, let me know anytime!!!

    :)
