Morning mist

 When I was getting the daily paper I noticed this mist, by the time I got the camera, it was half gone and five minutes later it was gone.

I drove to Milton and cycled to Fredericton and back, logging fifty km.
This fire weed is in North Wiltshire.

This grain field is in Hampshire, looks like the farmer is thinking about harvesting it as the header for the combine as being moved to the edge of the field.
By PEI standards it was a hot day, 29 with a humidex of 35.

Clouds

 I cycled to the neighbors farms in morning, I took this photo on the way home in Sunrise Cove.

 A new house under construction in Sunrise Cove as well.

This evening I cycled to the mall and took trail to Sherwood road to ride with the Monday evening group, we rode the trail to Suffolk and back. I took the trail to Winsloe and the road home. As I was on the Upton road I saw this fox in the industrial park. As I was taking the photo it stopped to have a look at me..
I donated plasma today, Mostly sunny at 27 and a light breeze.

Morell

 This is a robin sitting on the wires, it was too late in the evening for the colours to show.

This is where the trail crosses the Red Head road in Morell, the trail is heading east towards the Morell river.
After lunch I was cycling for a couple hours, from home to the mall, then the trail to the Loyalist road and back to Winsloe, then take the Lower Malpeque rd home. I was in Morell this evening doing a survey.
Mostly overcast at 22 and no wind.

Kensington

 I was in Kensington doing a survey in the afternoon, seems like the locomotive was build in 1960 and weights 120 ton.
I then drove to Travellers Rest and cycled to Miscouche and back to Travellers Rest logging 30 km.

This restaurant is located on the waterfront in the west end of Summerside.

A mostly sunny day at 26 with a light wind.

Victoria Park.

After lunch I cycled to Charlottetown and to Victoria Park, the park maintenance crew are doing a good job on the flower beds.

I then cycled to Peaks Quay and saw this group taking a tour of the city by horse and carriage.
I then cycled to the Joe Ghiz park, the start of the Confederation Trail in the city. I cycled the trail to Milton and then home logging 37 km. A sunny day at 24 with a light wind.

Various

I believe this is a self propelled sprayer working in a potato field, the field is located in Darlington.
 
This shell of a robin's egg was on the trail in Hazel Grove, seems a little late for a hatching.
I cycled in the morning, Milton to Hazel Grove and back to Milton, 42 km return.
In the afternoon I changed the oil in the car and mowed the lawn. Then for supper I went to a church strawberry & ice cream social. It was sunny at 27 with a light wind.

Emerald

In the afternoon I cycled to the town office, paid the water bill and chatted with the staff.
I drove to Hunter River and started cycling at 5:15 and cycled to Newton (near Kinkora) and back to Hunter River arriving at 8:00.  Sunny but cooler  at 20 and a light wind.

Trail in St Andrews

 This morning I cycled from York to St Andrews east of Mount Stewart. At a rest area and look out was this information poster on horses.

 This photo is looking out over the Hillsborough river, a sunny morning with a few fluffy clouds.
but a strong wind, about 35 km/h with gusts to 45.
 
A straight section of trail towards Mount Stewart, unfortunately I had a head wind most of the way on the return trip.  I was home about 20 minutes when the rain started.  We need the rain but by supper time my gauge was only showing 4 mm.

Unknown berries

 I took a walk though the woods by the ball field and found these blue black berries. I am wondering if they are sarsaparilla berries, I seem to remember Mom making wine from a berry that was a lot like these.

 Not a drop of water flowing in the little creek, no need for a bridge today.

I was cycling with thw Sherwood road group this evening, about 20 showed up for the ride. We cycled to the Colville road and back to Sherwood, about 26 km for the ride.
Sunny with a stiff breeze with a hot of 26.

Sheep

 This afternoon I cycled from Hampshire to Breadalbane and return to Hampshire.
I met these sheep on the trail in Hazel Grove.

This field of barley is starting ripen, it is located in Hampshire.
It was sunny at 24 with light wind, lots of cyclists on the trail, I saw 20+.

Clouds

 This photo of clouds was taken yesterday a few minutes before the rain squall.

This is a field of carrots near the Loyalist road.  This afternoon I cycled to the Farmers market, then cycled the trail to the Loyalist road, then back to Winsloe and the home. A mostly sunny day at 20. Very windy in the morning, temp is 13 as I post this.

Ravenwood

 I attended a meeting this morning at Ravenwood, the grounds are well maintained.

 This older MG was at the local Tims coffee shop.

This is the field in North Wiltshire that the farmer was seeding on July 5, it is getting a green shade to it.
This evening I cycled from Milton to Hazel Grove and back to Milton. I cycled to the meeting in morning, so the total for the day was 58 km. I just got home from cycling this evening, put the bike in the barn and into the house when we had a rain squall, we got 2 mm of rain in five minutes.

Morell river

This evening I started cycling in Cherry Hill, east of Mount Stewart. I cycled to St Peters and the back to Cheery Hill. The first photo is of the Morell river as seen from the trail looking up river. There was no wind so the water was still enough to see the trees reflected on the water.  
 The two kayakers were making good time going up river.

This photo was taken in Cheery Hill after I got back to the car.
We got 4 mm of rain last night, we could have used 30 mm but 4 is better than none. Mostly cloudy with a high of 24.

Blueberries

 I cycled form Suffolk to Cherry Hill mid day, this blueberry field is located east of Mount Stewart.

It wouldn't be long before the harvest starts, these are called low bush berries.
After the cycling, I mowed the lawn, it was 8 days since I cut it and still a light cut.  Some rain forecast for tonight but the last couple weeks, the forecast rain just never comes. Mostly sunny at 26 today.

Fields & flowers

 It was mostly cloudy with a few sunny breaks, showers this evening, high around 24.
This field of baled hay is located on the Jewell Road.

This is potatoes that a looking good, rows filled in and all in blossom.
No cycling on the Confederation trail today, but I did cycled 20 km around Cornwall.

This bed of lilies is as cocoa's, she wasn't kidding when she said she had many varieties of lilies, I counted around twelve.

Brown eyed Susans

 This evening I cycled from North Wiltshire to Breadalbane and back. I found these Brown eyed Susan's near Hazel Grove.

This morning I had the opportunity to climb this tower and make repairs to the antennas.
It belongs to one on the members of the radio club. It was mostly a sunny day but got a bit misty this evening when I was cycling.

 The forecast was for showers this evening, not much sign of rain in these clouds, first photo is looking to the west.
This is looking to the northeast and the house are in Sunrise Cove. I was helping a family member with his lawn mower this morning. I waited until 5:30 to go cycling, I cycled to Charlottetown, then cycled the trail to Hampshire, then cycled home arriving at 8:00.  It was sunny with a high of 26, it is still 20 as I do the post

Working at the hay

 This hay  field is located in Hampshire, the farmer is rolling the hay into round bales.

It was sunny at 29 this afternoon, so I waited until evening to go cycling. I started around 5:30 in Hampshire and cycled to Fredericton and back to Hampshire, about 38 km.
