Old house

This house is 186 years old. It is called Ravenwood and it is where we have our Trail Officers meetings.
They display the fact that it was build in 1824 right on the door.

It is starting to look a lot like Christmas in this neighborhood.
Sunny today with -6 to start the day and a high of -3
I attended a Trail Officer meeting in the morning, then had lunch with them. Then at 6:00 I attended a reception at the Delta.

Pine trees

This pine tree is almost 75 cm across at the butt.

Not very many trees this big on PEI, these are on the trail in Winter Bay.

Mostly sunny at 1. I was hiking in the morning, at the wood lot during the afternoon and attended a Christmas social for the retired firefighters in the evening.

Clouds

These photos of the setting sun on the clouds where taken in Hartsville.

Mostly sunny with a high of 6. I was in the wood lot for three hours and to Warren Grove for cards. I was able to get a third place.

Stormy day

The North River was very rough with winds gusting to 90 km/h coming from the south.

This was taken around 4:00 PM, the wind was not as bad, gusts around 60 km/h with some sunny breaks. I visited neighbors at the chicken barn in the morning. I spend some time putting lights on the Christmas tree and took a walk in the ballfield woods in the late afternoon.

Windmills

These four windmills are the Summerside wind farm.
Some sunny breaks in the cloud this afternoon at a high of 7.
We were to Montague this afternoon. I did see some cyclists out on the highways.

Clouds

The photo is looking east over Charlottetown, looks like there will be a break in the cloud cover.

But the the sunny break never happened, rain at times all day with a high of 8.
I put a new chain and sprocket on the chain saw in the morning. This evening I attended the firefighters Christmas dinner at the fire hall.

Santa

I was at the Radio Club Christmas dinner when this jolly old fellow appeared.
In the morning I was helping a neighbor at the chicken barn and was at the wood lot for a couple hours in the afternoon.
Cloudy all day with a high of 8.
