Change in the use of a field

 This field hadn't been farmed for seven years and the brushes 2 meters plus high.

The same field today, it was worked a couple of weeks ago and now planted with grain.
Rain all day with a high of 9. I was to the CBC this evening to do a spot for our Emerald cycling event which takes place this weekend.  I attended a radio club meeting tonight.

Old building

 The old Sobey's building is getting a face lift.
Or it is being torn down, at this point I know which it is.

Showers and drizzle all day at a high of 10. I was in Hampshire helping my brother in the afternoon and attended a meeting in Stratford this evening.

Rhubarb social

I attended a Rhubarb social at the Milton hall which is being renovated.
 

I was cycling around Charlottetown in the morning and this dozer was leveling some soil near Maypoint.
I was to the woodlot in the afternoon. It was quite windy, gusts to 60km/h with a high of 10.

Becel Heart & Stroke ride

 This is the intersection of Rte 2 & 236 (Lower Malpeque road)  I was there as a volunteer to help with traffic.

This group of cyclists were some of the first ones to arrive at the intersection. Later I moved to the Intersection of Rte 25 & 220 and was there until 12:45.  After lunch I cycled into Charlottetown, took the trail to Winsloe and cycled the road home logging 32 km.  Sunny with cloudy periods at a high of 17. 

Red Island Relay

 I was a volunteer at the Red Island Relay race in Brudenell. There was about 90 teams entered in the race, there was two cycling legs, and some teams used a different bike foe each leg.

 The canoes are all lined up for the racers.

This is the station that I was manning, The second cycling leg was done on the trail and I was to see that they got across the road safely.  At this crossing they were going both ways, so I had 180 cyclists to get across.
This evening I cycled from Hampshire to Fredericton and back logging 39 km. 

Milton trail

 It was cloudy all until just a few minutes before I took this photo, I was on the trail in Milton.

The rain and then the sun sure makes for many shades of green.  The high today was 13, and winds of 30-35 km/h when I was cycling.  I was in the wood lot before lunch and mowed the lawn after supper.

Calm water

 I was cycling this evening around town, very little wind so the water was calm. This is the Cow's Ice cream factory at the North River.

This is looking across the river, the rain yesterday sure brought out the green colour in the trees and grass.
Overcast all day at 14. I donated plasma in morning, to the wood lot during the afternoon.
