Sign of spring

 I drove to Milton and then cycled to Hunter River and back. This grain field is up enough to show the green, it is located in North Wiltshire.

The wild strawberries are in blossom near Milton.
I had breakfast with the raio club in morning and was to cards in Hampshire this evening.
It was partly sunny at 17 when I was cycling but raining this evening.

Farmer in field

This morning  I cycled to the mall, then the trail to Milton. The leaves are starting to open on this poplar tree.

The farmer is using disc harrow, the ground is dry as you can see from the dust.
Some parts got rain today but were I was only a very light sprinkle, not enough to stop working.
The temperature was 17 with a light wind. 

Mount Stewart

 This morning I drove to York, then cycled to Mount Stewart. These Marsh Marigolds were near Tracadie Cross but there were many more near Mount Stewart.

 The trailsign advising tou are in Mount Stewart.

Note the flag, a stiff breeze on my back coming out but it was hard work for the first few km along the river going back.

As I was leaving York, I stopped at Vessey's and got some seeds.
After lunch I cut the grass and then planted onion sets, carrots, lettuce and radish.
Sunny in the morning, then clouded over, light showers this evening. A high of 18 but windy at times.

Deck

Finished the deck work this morning. I was to Valley Field for a graveside service in the afternoon.
Attended a meeting at fire hall this evening.
Sunny at 23 with light wind.

Sunset

I spend most of the day working on the deck and then to Warren Grove for cards.
So no cycling today. Sunny with a high of 23 but very windy, gusting to 55 km/h all afternoon.

Sherwood road cycling

The Sherwood road cycling group started at 6:30 and cycled to York and back, there was 17 cyclists this evening.

It was close to 7:45 when I saw these planes overhead, seems like they are on the same flight route.

A new house going up in Sunrise cove, this crew was pouring the footing concrete this morning.
Sunny with a high temperature of 20 with a brisk wind.

Breadalbane & Montague

I drove to North Wiltshire and then cycled the trail to Breadalbane and cycled back to North Wilshire.
This playground is in Breadalbane.

This beaver pond is a couple km east of Breadalbane. Seems that the beavers are gone as the dam is open and the water level is low.

I was to Montague in the afternoon and walked a couple of km on the trail. The new hotel on the water front is taking shape. It was a sunny day with light wind with a high of 17.
