Horses

 I was cycling again today, the ice foes are starting to move down river at the North River bridge.

 A neighbor's horses were out enjoying the sun, it was cooler at  +3.
 

After supper I took a walk though the woods, again the water was flowing over the little bridge but only by a couple of cm so I just walked though the water.

Sunny at 8

I was cycling this afternoon, this looking north from the North River bridge, the channel has really started to open.

 I cycled to New Haven, for the most part the shoulder of the highway was dry.

After the rain yesterday, there is some bare ground starting to show in the fields, this photo is in Clyde river.
I was out cycling for two hours.

Ducks

I was cycling in the afternoon, temp was up to +8 and sunny.  The channel in the North River is starting to open up.

 I cycled from the Peter Pan corner to New Haven, I saw these ducks on the bank of the Clyde river.
I had logged 32 km by the time I got back home.

After supper I took a walk (on snowshoes) down to the blown down tree, I have all the branches that the camp saw can cut removed. I will need to bring a bigger saw next time.

Setting sun

 I went out on the snowshoes around 7:00, I went though the ballfield woods and took this of the clouds and the sun trying to peek out.

 This photo is looking back at the woods that I came though.

A few minutes later the sun did peek out and was highlighting the trees at the edge of the woods.
We were to Montague this afternoon and visited with family members.

Nordic center

 This morning I attended at meeting for the PEI woodlot assoc at the Nordic center in Brookvale.

This brown pattern in the snow left of the road was caused by a highway snowblower clearing a snowdrift and catching some of the clay on the road shoulder. I am guessing it was thrown at least 150 meters.
Rain this after noon at +1.  I attended a church supper this evening.

No photo day

I was out on the snowshoes for a while in the afternoon and spend some time with the shovel widening the driveway. There was a little snow in the morning and then overcast at +4.  I watched some curling in the afternoon that was on the DVR.

Brookvale

 There were four of us snowshoeing at the Brookvale wood lot this morning. Fresh snow all the way, lots of snow on the trees.

 And a lot of ice still on trees as well.

We completed the full loop of trail, about 3.5 km and we were out for 90 minutes.
Mostly sunny at - 2.   I attend a radio club meeting this evening.
