The old train station in Alberton is of stone construction.
This morning we got the new 6 element antenna in place. This late afternoon I got a ride to Elmsdale with another TO. I then cycled to Tignish passing though Alberton on the way and logging 27 km. I got picked up in Tignish and given a ride back home.

Ham Antenna
This 3 element beam is to be taken down and replaced with a 6 element one
I bet you can guess who one of the riggers is.
The tower is 48 feet in height. We worked at it all afternoon and did get it down, now the job for tomorrow is to get the replacement antenna up. No cycling as when you are on a tower, you can't cycle.

Gold Cup Parade
It is said that this eight horse team with the wagon s worth over $400,000.
It would take a big tree to slow down these to lads
I cycled into Charlottetown to get photos of the parade. After lunch I mowed the lawn. I had to make another trip to the bike shop as I had another spoke break in the rear wheel last evening.

Blue berries
Blue berries being harvested in a field near Hopefield
The bins at the back of the machine that collect the berries, I am surprised on how little leaves and twigs are in with the berries.
I donated plasma in the morning, cut the grass in the afternoon and this evening I drove to Melville and then cycled to Murray River with another TO and then we cycled back to Melville logging 40 km for the trip.

This is the staging area and where the tractors are weighted to ensure they are in the correct class.
