You can tell from the mural on the wall that registration was taking place in a fire hall, Mount Stewart.
There was 86 cyclists in the this evening ride from Mount Stewart to St Peters, about 27 km.
About half of the cyclists stored the bicycles at the community center in St Peters as we start tomorrow (Saturday) in St Peters and cycle to Souris.
Myself and another TO drove to St Peters and cycled to Mount Stewart so that when we got back to St Peters the car would be there, we logged about 58 km. It was a windy day but warm in mid twenties and mostly sunny.

This potato field is in Cornwall, I think this unit is windrowing the potatoes for the harvester.
There was two units windrowing and the harvester has the truck along side.
I cycled to Charlottetown then to Hampshire on the Confederation Trail and then back to Charlottetown and then home logging 42 km for the trip. A sunny day in the low twenties.

Woodland trail
The other day I took a walk though the woods by the ball field, I hadn't walked it for a couple of months. It is obvious that there is other people taking time to walk the trail.
I went as far as the creek where there is a bridge across it, no water flowing today.
I had breakfast with the retired firefighters this morning and did some errands. I spend the afternoon in the shop. No cycling today.
Warm at 24 but light rain or drizzle all day.

I was dropping off a couple passengers that were taking the bus to Wood Islands for a boat cruise.
It was stated on the news that there were 400 taking part in the cruise, So that is why all the buses at the hall.
I donated plasma in the morning and spend the afternoon tiding up the shop.

Large insect
When I came home this evening, this insect was by the door, and it had no interest in leaving. A close look at the wings makes me think that it is near the end of its life span.
It was only 3 at my place this morning and there was frost in places. At 8:00 AM there was big fluffy clouds to the south. I attended a family get together this afternoon and cycled Milton to Hunter River and back this evening, about 37 km. High temp for the day was 16.

More clouds
Looking south from the ball field, a few openings in the clouds.
I was trying difference settings with the camera, the first one was on auto.
The second one was a low light setting.
This one was taken with landscape setting. I think it is more like what the clouds looked to me.
Rain this morning, some sun and cloud in afternoon with a high of 16 and windy
I was at a neighbors this morning and taring down shingles this afternoon.

Putting on new shingles
The old shingles that had been on the roof for 26 years.
The roof stripped to the boards which are still in good condition.
The rubberized underlay in place.
The new shingles are installed, nine hours later for half of the roof.
Mostly cloudy with a few sunny breaks at 24. No cycling today but I did attend a short meeting this evening.

Straw bales
This field off bales is in Newton, it must have been just combined as the truck is still loaded with grain.
This field is closer to Kinkora. This evening with another TO, we cycled from Emerald to Borden and back about 36 km. Mostly sunny with a high of 24.
While cycling I got stung on the leg by a wasp or hornet, not sure which but it was black and the leg is still sore.

Crows and clouds with green fields
This crow was on the wires and decided to fly away just as I took the photo.
Because of all the rain lately, the fields are still green, nice clear blue sky with a few clouds with a high of 20.
I was at a local restaurant this evening and this unusual motorcycle was in the parking lot.
I was to Montague in the afternoon to visit family members.

The distance was about 8 km.
The was 12 cyclists that took part in the ride.
Myself and another TO started in Iona and cycled to Murray Harbour. This snake was on the trail near Hopefield, It was cool, about 13 at the time and it moved very slow, so I helped it get off the trail. We saw another snake before we got to Murray River but it was more active.
The cycling was in the morning and I mowed the lawn this afternoon. There was scatted showers all day with a high of 17.
