Island east Cycling day 3

The ladies at Murray Harbour had a great spread of muffins for us before we start the ride.
Considering the day of light rain & drizzle we had a decent turnout, about 40 cyclists.

The fishing boats in the Murray Harbour taken from the bridge.

We were enjoying Jan's beef stew at Wood Islands after the ride. I was only damp when I got to Wood Islands and the weather looked to be holding at a drizzle, so I cycled back to Murray  Harbour but I got hit with a major shower in Hopefield to Murray River. Lucky that I took at change of clothes with me and it was warm at 18.

We started in Mount Stewart and we had light rain and drizzle all the way to Georgetown.
Even with the rain we had 70 cyclists taking part in the ride.

These two photos are of the boardwalk at the end of the trail in Georgetown, the boardwalk and the pavement was wet.

But the gravel trail was damp but not muddy so the ride was not too bad, temp was around 14 and a light wind.  By the time we were leaving Georgetown it was raining steadily and at 8:00 PM still raining.
The forecast for tomorrow no better, showers in morning and rain in the afternoon.
