I was to a IODE breakfast then yard work for the rest of the day.  So far this evening we have had only 8 kids to the door.

Windy day

 Today I cycled from Milton to Hunter River, this is the trail bridge over the Hunter river.

 The Dr. Kent Ellis Gazebo at Hunter River, grass is still green.

A tree had blown over in Greenvale party covering the trail.
A mostly sunny day at 10 but very windy, at times gusting to 60+ km/h.

Nice day.

No cycling today but did some yard work and serviced my daughters car.
Temp of 8 with sun and light wind.

Mount Stewart

 Today I cycled from York to Mount Stewart and back to York.
This section of the trail is in Tracadie, the Eagle nest as well.

 I turned at Mt Stewart, which where the Trailside Cafe located. As you can see from the flag it was windy.

Sunny with a temperature of 6

Walk in woods

 I did cycle to the neighbors in the morning but the afternoon cycling was cancelled because of showers.

 So I walked to the business park, the three rows of trees at the edge of the park are really growing.

Nice fall colours in this area. The day started at 9 but it was 6 when I was walking and now it is down to 3.

Windy cycling

 After lunch I cycled to Winsloe and then took the trail to Charlottetown. These maples are near Sherwood.

 I then cycled along the water front, I was surprised to see this many boats still at the marina.

 The wind was gusting to 60 km/h at times.

So I was surprised again to see this sail boat out in the harbour. It was overcast with a temperature of 12.

Roma

 Today I was hiking the trails at Roma near Brudenell, the buoys are for nets catching a fish called silversides

 The leaves are still on this maple.

We hiked the full loop today, about 3.5 km.  Mostly cloudy with almost no wind with a temp of 7.
This evening I was to a church supper in Hunter River

Touring

 Yesterday I was touring the Kensington area with a group of retired firefighters.
The church is located in Indian River.

 We had lunch at this restaurant in Kensington.

These displays are at the Cool Breeze farm near Summerside.
I was doing yard work for most of the day. Thought about going cycling around 3:30 but before I got dressed it started to rain. Still raining, temp around 7.

Hunter River

 Today I cycled from Milton to Hunter River and back to Milton. I saw one other cyclist.

This maple was a bout 1 km east of Hunter River. It was sunny at 6 and a north wind at times gusting to 30 km/h

No cycling

No cycling to day, in the morning I visited a brother inlaw and after lunch I got the flu shot

Maple trees

 Today I cycled the trail from the mall to Hampshire and back to the Lower Malpeque road. the first photo is in Milton.

 This one is in Hampshire at the edge of a field.

Nearer the Loyalist road, lots of leaves are starting to come down.
It was a cool ride, temp was 2 and a noth wind in the 30 km/h range, mostly cloudy but a couple sunny breaks

Fall leaves

 Someone drove into the ball field last night and then got stuck.

No cycling today but was to Montague visiting family
Rain this morning then cloudy at a cool 5, right now only 1.5

Mount Stewart

 Today we started the bike ride in Mount Stewart and cycled east for 10 km and return.

 This line of maple trees was about a km east of Mount Stewart.

Same trees, just a closer look. A bit on the cool side but no wind to speak off.

Many colours

The fall colours right behind our house. I did cycle to Cornwall to pick up my car which I had left there to be undercoated.I spend most of the day working around the yard and house.
Cloudy in morning, sunny in after noon with a high of 19.

New house

 The chickadees are back around the feeder today. I had not seen them for a few weeks.

I cycled to Winsloe this morning and took a loop though the subdivision hear here. These guys are working on the  holiday.  Mostly overcast with a high of 11

Trail colour

I did the short loop again today after lunch. dry and the sun trying to come out when I left home but by the time I got Winsloe there were showers but not heavy so I didn't get too wet.

Walk in woods

 Very windy today, at times gusting to 70 km/h. All the ferry services were cancelled for part of the day.

Not sure what these trees are,not maples for sure.

Fall foliage

 I was to the wood lot today, this photo is in Hampshire.

 I worked on clearing some of the trails for a couple of hours.

I found this red maple in the section that was clear cut about 10 years ago.
I cycled the short loop after been at the wood lot. That is to the mall, then Winsloe and back home.
Sunny in the morning, then cloudy at 10 and this evening light rain.

Brudenell river

 Taken from the trail bridge about 6:00 PM. No wind so the water is still, the sun was hitting the tree tops and making them look washed out.

The Montague river, some boats have been taken out of the water for the winter.
Can you spot the mermaid?
This evening the group cycled from Montague to the Cardigan junction and back, about 20 km.
A sunny day with a high of 13, right now it is 4.

Cycling

No photos today but I was cycling, the loop to the mall, trail to Winsloe and then home, about 22 km.
Did some yard work at home and to a radio club meeting this evening.

Maple tree

Today I cycled to the mall, then the trail to Winsloe and home. This maple tree was near the bypass highway.
A sunny day at 18 with a light wind.

Monday cycling

 We had 12 in the group today, we now start at 3:00 PM. The turning point today was the Suffolk road which is where the photo was taken.

After the ride we went the Outriders Cookhouse for something to eat.
Mostly sunny at 15 with a light wind.

Cycling in Montague

 Today we had the sun to cycle in, 32 cyclists today. We started at the water front in Montague.

 Turning point was the water front in Georgetown, it was 36 km around trip.

Still lots of boats in the water at Montague. Temperature was around 14 with a light wind.

Cycling in the rain

 Today we cycled from Uigg to Murray River and again it was raining..

We had lunch after the ride.
