I was out for a hour on the snowshoes, as I got home these guys were using the ice covered infield for a game of pickup hockey

Walk in field

 Neighbors barn is almost done.

 Late afternoon I was on the snowshoes, at the edge of the business park when I took the photo.
The sun had just gone down.

The rain and wind has bared off some of the fields. We had 10mm of rain in the morning and the wind was S gusting to 90 km/h at times.  High temp for the day was 5

Woods

I was to the wood lot today, the wood shed has a good cap of snow on it.
I was surprised at the amount of snow. I did not take the snow shoes and I was sinking to my knees in the snow.
Warm at +7

Woodland trail

 I was on the snow shoes to the edge of the business park, snow all off the trees.

The trail is about 80% though the woods, about 3 km for the round trip.
Later we were to Montague for the rest of the day.
Temperature was -6 and partly sun

Snowshoeing

Late afternoon I was out on the snow shoes for 50 minutes. I went as far as the business park.
Overcast at +3

Tracks

 Lots of coyote tracks in the fresh snow, this is about a km from home.

I was out for about 90 minutes and the sun was setting as I got near home.
Temp was around zero.

Fallen trees

 I took the buck saw with me on the walk to the business park, there was three places were I cleaned up and moved trees. The first one was easy, the second one really needed the chain saw.

Overcast with light snow with a temp of zero.

Sunshine

 I was ouy on the snow shoes for a hour, to the business park and back.
Even with 10 mm of rain and a temp of 10 yesterday we still have snow cover.

Today the high temperature was -10 but sun rather than rain.
Snow was crusty but still needed the snow shoes.

Wet snow

Snow overnight, the rain. It made for heavy snow to shovel. I was about a hour clearing the drive and walkway.  By 4:00 the temp was 9, at 7:30 it was 8.4 and by 8:30 it was down to 4.
A strong wind from the west gusting at times to 50+ km/h

Tracks

I was on the snow shoes for 90 minutes, I went as far as the water tower, logging over 4 km.

Walk in the storm

 Because of the high winds and snow the Island was closed for the day.
I was out on the snow shoes for 70 minutes. First photo is the drifting snow at the business park.

 I was in the woods most of the way, sure glad I didn't need to cross this open field.

In places were there is spruce trees, lots of snow on the trees.
Temperature around -15 with the west wind gusting to near 90km/h at times.
As I post this the gusts are down to less than 60 km/h

More snow

PEI got another 10 cm of snow in the afternoon. I was out on the snowshoes in the morning for 70 minutes and travelled 3.75 km.

Barn

Neighbors barn is taking shape.  A couple cm of snow in the morning, 2 mm of rain during the afternoon.
Temperature around +1

snow

 About 15 cm of snow last night, but dry and very easy to blow.

Late in the afternoon out on the snowshoes for a hour, sun was trying to peek out.
Temperature around zero and no wind to speak off.

New barn

 A barn going up at the neighbors, I understand about 60' by 100 feet.

-12 here i the morning, now up to -4 but we got 15 cm of snow since noon.
I was out on the snowshoes for 45 minutes

Winter walk.

 I was out for a 60 minute walk in the afternoon, still snow on the ground but settling some as the ground was not frozen.

Late afternoon after I finished with the decorations I took a 45 minute walk to the business park. Other than this peek it was overcast around zero with a 30-40 west wind.

Trinirtyborg

 I cycled into Charlottetown this morning, by Victoria park there was a flock of ducks in the harbour.

The Trinityborg was in port and unloading what I think was a load of fertilizer.
Overcast with more wind today, temp still zero. We were getting wet snow in the afternoon, maybe 1 cm.

Cycling

 I was cycling for a couple hours today, I was on the new cycling/ walking path on the new section of the highway coming into Charlottetown.

I cycled to Victoria park and took the trail to Winsloe, The trail shown in the photo is near UPEI. The city removes the snow on this trail.
A overcast day with a temperature of zero and almost no wind.

Wood lot

I was to the wood lot to check conditions, lots of snow, I am guessing 50+ cm on the ground.
A overcast and rain type of day at +2

More snow

 Officially we got 25 cm of snow but I think was more like 30 here.

 I had to do some digging just to get to the blower, it was wet snow and had to blow.

Late afternoon I was out on the snow shoes for about a hour.  Snow in morning, some sun in the afternoon. Temp around 3

Cornwall trail

 Today I walked the trail at the Cornwall business park. Distance is about 2 km.

The trail takes you close to the water tower.
A mostly overcast day at +1. I also got the blower out of the barn and is ready for snow which could be tomorrow.

Snow

We got 15 cm of wet snow yesterday and overnight. East of Charlottetown over 12,000 homes with out power. tonight they are saying some may not get the power back until Wednesday.
Warming centers set up in Cardigan, Murray Harbour and Montague.
Temperature staying around the freezing point. 

Steel

I had a good day at the wood sled project, I completed one side of putting on the steel.
Overcast with a temp of 2 but very little wind at the site.

Firewood

I was a the wood lot today and took some slabs to a friend

York

Today we cycled from Sherwood road to Suffolk and back, passing though York on the way.
Only three in the group but was a nice day with a temperature of 10.

Rain gauge

I got a new rain gauge, a weather channel model. 
I was to Montague today, rain in the morning but then cleared, temperature was up to 16 mid afternoon.

Wood shed

 Last couple day I have being building roof truses, a lot more work to the end ones.

With the help of a friend we got the trusses in place today.

Monday cycling

Only three in the group today, we cycled from Sherwood road to Hampshire and back.
Sunny with a temp of 12 and a light west breeze.

Leaves

 I was at Sears today then I went cycling. I cycled the trail from Milton to Hazel Grove and back to Milton.
Lots of people on the trail, most were walking but there was six cyclists.

Lots of leaves on the trail in North Wiltshire, For mid-November it was a nice day Sunny with a high of 9, also a west wind of 30 km/h.

Large spreader

I visited a neighbor this morning, I would this is the largest spreader in this area.
I watched the Charlottetown remembrance service  on the TV and worked around the shop for the afternoon.
Light rain most of the day with a high temp of 9

Juniper trees

 Today the Monday group cycled from the Sherwood road to the Suffolk road, still a lot of pumpkins in the field in Dunstaffage. The crows seem to be enjoying them. We only had four cyclists in the group.

The Juniper trees are about ready to drop their needles.
