Field
This morning I walked down to the creek, field also bare and probably is now as the temp was +10 allday.
Not much water flowing in the creek, but we are having a lot more rain this evening.
The geese were in the air again heading west. I would guess that were coming from the open water at Ellen's creek.

Cycling
After lunch I cycled to Victoria park. The harbour mostly clear of ice, some ice still in the rivers.
I then cycled to Winsloe and then home using the roads all the way.
Later I took a short walk in the woods near home and was able to get a couple photos of a squirrel
.
It was sunny at -4 with a very light north wind. Actually a very nice day for cycling because the shoulders of the roads was mostly dry. If it had been warmer there would be more melting of the snow and ice.

Signs of spring Geese
I was out on the snowshoes for a hour, I was as far as the business park woods. The first photo is seeing the track from yesterday.
This is what it looks after two passes, going and coming back.
Looking across the York Point road at some new housing.
This flock of geese flew over about 4:30, not sure if that is a sign of spring.
They picked a poor day to return as it was -20 this morning and still -10 this evening.

The rabbits are still around in the woods near the ballfield.
Not too far away, lots of coyote tracks, I am thinking that there may be a den close by.
Over cast at -9 and a light nw wind.
