Mount Stewart

 Today I cycled from Mount Stewart to Brackley where I joined a group ride.
The pumpkin display is in York.

 The bikes are ready for the ride, we had 32 cyclists take part in the ride.

At Mount Stewart we had chicken soup and biscuits. A mostly sunny day but was cooling down as we reached Mount Stewart. 

Hunter River

 This morning I cycled from Milton to Hunter River, I met 9 walkers and four cyclists.

Farmers have started the fall plowing, this field is in North Wiltshire.
After lunch I mowed the lawn.  Mostly overcast at 13.

No cycling

I spent the day at the wood lot, light rain started at 4:00

Monday evening cycling

We had 13 in the group this evening, we cycled to the Suffolk road and back
It was a bit cool at 10 but a very light wind.

Big pile of logs

 I was at the logging again today, this is the most logs I have taken out at one time.

I have 20 logs ready for milling, the will keep me busy for a couple days.
Mostly sunny with a high of 18, a nice day for the woods.

Logs

I was to the wood lot for a few hours today and got some logs ready to be milled.
Mostly sunny with a high of 16.

Golf

 I played 9 holes this morning, first photo is a view of hole five.

City bike ride

 I took part a Charlottetown community bike ride today. We cycled from the Hillsborough Community Center to the Joe Ghiz park,

 We had one fat tire bike in the ride.

On the trail along Riverside Drive. I am guessing 50-60 cyclists.
Warm at 20 but the wind was gusting to 60 km/h from the south.

Old Trail Officers Group

Today the group cycled  Vernon River to Uigg and had lunch at the community hall.
9 cyclist and two drivers. Nice day, mostly sunny at 20 with a light breeze.

Sunflowers

 This morning I was cycling the trail from the Joe Ghiz park to Winsloe. Near the Canadian Tire store they were digging the trench for the wiring for the street lights.

Lots of sun flowers near the farm center, no sun so the flowers are looking at the ground.

Sedum

 The Sedum are looking good, there was a couple bumblebees working the flowers as well.

I spend most of the day at the wood lot.
Mostly overcast with a high of 26 but the humidex was like 33
I lifted the onions after supper as there is rain forecast for later tonight.

Pumpkins

This evening I was cycling in the  York area again, This is a large field of pumpkins.
Sunny and a warm 28. The black flies were out in swarms, the worst  I have seen all summer.

Geese

 There was five in the group this evening, we cycled to marker 185, 2 km pass York.
These geese were in York, there is a small pond just left of the driveway.

The sun was setting as I got home.
A mostly sunny day with a high of 20 but it was down to 15 by the time I got home from cycling.

Trail lights

 New trail lights going up along the trail from the mall to the bypass highway.  Not in operation yet.

The trail splits at the Junction, left branch goes to Mt Stewart, right takes you to Charlottetown.
This evening I cycled to the mall, then took the trail to Winsloe and then the roads home

Raining

Raining in the morning, so I visited a friend. After lunch I was to the wood lot and cut down and hauled out six saw logs.  Raining again this evening with some lightening.  Temp around 20
