More snow

I was cycling today, to the mall, then the trail to Allen street and then the trail to the Royalty road. Last 2 km had snow in places. I walked the bike a couple times for a couple hundred meters.
Sunny at 5 but a NW wind gusting to 40+ at times.

Walk in woods

I was out for a 75 minute walk this afternoon, light rain at times, temp 6.
Fields are bare but still a bit of snow in the woods.

Great trail

I was cycling today, I cycled to the Belvedere Ave and then the trail to bypass Hwy, then the road to Winsloe and on home. The trail near the Belvedere Ave is like summer but out pas the Hwy it is still snow covered. Mostly sunny at +5 with a NW wind 25-35 km/h.

Worksite crane

Today I cycled to the mall, then to Winsloe and then home. This crane is at the site of a 4 story building. They build the roof on the ground and plan to left the roof on after the walls are up.
It was sunny at zero with a light north wind.

Great trail

 Today I drove to Milton and walked the trail to Coles creek, about 2 km. Not much snow in places but I saw 14 snowmobiles in the hour I was on the trail, I guess they are getting the last ride in for the season.

fresh snow

 I was out for a hour walking the trails, not enough snow to need the snow shoes but looks good on the trees.

Nor easter

We got about 10 cm of snow this afternoon with winds from the ne gusting to 80 km/h.
I was out for a 60 minute walk to the business park. Photo taken from back door just as I got home.
Temp around zero.

Victoria park

 Today I cycled around Victoria park, lots of people out using the boardwalk.
The harbour is totally ice free. I then cycled to Winsloe and to home.

Dead tree

 When I went for a walk today I tok the saw with me. This tree was dead before it blew down.

 Didn't take long to take off the branches and cut it into 60 cm blocks.

All cleaned up but for the branches that are frozen into the ground.
Overcast at -5 and a stiff west wind.

Bare fields

 I was out for a 60 minute this afternoon. Fields are basically bare of snow.

I am seeing lots of squirrels this winter, this one is working on a spruce cone.

New building

 I was cycling for a couple hours today, new building going, different in the fact the roof was build on the ground and the roof will be lifted by the crane once the walls are up.

 Looking to towards the harbour, the channel in the North River is clear of ice.

Ferry road

 I was cycling the roads for a hour today, I cycled the TCH to Cornwall and then came home by the ferry road. (in photo) Although we 20 20 cm of snow in the last three days there is only a light covering in the fields. Temp was +3

Tree clean up

I took the saw with me today on the walk, cleaned up a couple trees that had blown down.

Some light snow in the air as I was coming home. We got 6cm last night and may get another 10 cm tonight. Temp around zero, showing -1 now

Squirrel

I was out for a 45 minute walk this afternoon, there seems to be more squirrels around this winter.

Water tower

Today I walked to the business park and around the water tank before going home. Logged 4.75 km for the walk

March cycling

I was cycling today, photo is the trail at Belvedere Ave. No snow here as the City parks removes the snow from the trail out to the bypass Hwy, about 3 km. I cycled from here to Winsloe and then home, about 25 km.
It was +5 when I started but was zero when I got home and the wind had picked up from the northeast gusting to 45 km/h.
