Elmira

Today I cycled from Souris to Elmira, Elmira been the eastern end of the trail. There was 11 in the group this morning. We had beef stew and biscuits before returning to Souris.

I now completed the complete trail twice this summer, all 440 km of it.

St Peters Souris

Today I cycled St Peters to Souris and returned. First clip, catching up to some of the group, next Harmory Junction, gazebo in Souris, Selkirk bridge, fall colours near Five Houses, a steep dip in the trail because of bridge over the road been removed and the St Peters bridge.

Souris

 Today we cycled from St Peters to Souris, about 35 km one way.

 We had sandwiches at the gazebo on Main street in Souris.

O'Leary

 Today I was travelling with a group, the museum is in O'Leary.

 The woolen mill is in Bloomfield.

 This wind farm is in West Point.

And then a stop for Ice Cream near Summerside.

Trail by Charlottetown rural

Today I cycled from home to Winsloe, then cycled the trail to Belvedere Ave, then to Queen St and then took a short by the Charlottetown High School to the North River road.
First part of video is on  the trail between Royalty road and the Sherwood road. Last part is coming of Queen onto short cut trail.

Geese at York

 This evening the Monday group cycled to York. There was lots of geese around the pond.
It was a sunny evening but cool as the temp was only 3 when I got home.

Souris St Charles

Today I cycled from Souris to St Charles and back to Souris, about 22 km one way. First  video is start of trail at the harbour, then 500 meters later the only tunnel on the trail. Next is the fish ladder at Harmony Junction. Next is rest area couple km west of New Zealand, then on the return is the Harmony Junction.  I will say my eyes did not adjust in the tunnel as quick as the camera.

Trail near Sherwood road

This evening I cycled from to Allen Street, then cycled the trail to Winsloe and the roads back home. First video is crossing the Sherwood road and the last one is coming up to the Lower Malpeque road. Number three is crossing the driveway to the Fire school training facility. Lower Malpeque is the one I take to go home from Winsloe.

Hunter River

This evening we started in Hunter River and cycled west towards Pleasant Valley.
Video taken as we came back to Hunter  River, first is crossing the Hunter River bridge, next coming to The Dr Kent Ellis park and parking lot. Last is chatting as the bikes are loaded.

Winsloe trail

This morning I cycled to the Joe Ghiz park (Grafton street) and then cycled the trail to Winsloe. The videos were taken in the Winsloe area.

Loyalist road

 This evening we had 19 cyclists in the group, photo is taking a rest at Milton.

Suffolk

This evening was seven in the group, we cycled from Winsloe to the Suffolk road and back to Winsloe. First video is crossing the Suffolk road on the start of the return. Second part is coming into York.

Monday cycling

We had 12 cyclists for this evening's ride, we went to Marker 185 which is about 2 km past York.
So round trip was 25 km.

Crossing roads

This evening I cycled the trail from the Mall to Winsloe, the trail crosses 4 roads. The first is the bypass highway with traffic lights and six traffic lanes. The light was green but turned red just as I got to it, next is Royalty road, very little traffic on it. Next is the Winsloe road, a fair amount of traffic and the last one is main highway Route #2 and a busy two lane road.

Sept 6 cycling

We had 8 cyclists this evening, we cycled from Hampshire to Hunter River and return. Photo taken at Hunter River. Video was near the Colville road as we were coming back.

Joe Ghiz park

This evening cycled to the Joe Ghiz park next to Grafton street. I then cycled the trail to Winsloe and the road home.

Campers

There was 15 in the group this evening, we cycled to Hampshire and back to Sherwood road, about 24 km for the trip. Video take near Royalty Junction, a couple cyclists had set up the tent by the shelter.

Harvest time

From cutting the grain, threshing the grain and to crushing the oats, we were seeing it all yesterday at the farm day at The MacPhail Homestead. Plus some old engines that are close to a hundred years old
