Video I took yesterday while cycling in North Wiltshire. I tried cycling over the snow but had to get off and walk the bike.

Spring cultivating

Snow on Trail

 On April 24 I cycled the trail from Winsloe to North Wiltshire turning back when I came to this Snow drift between markers 162-163. Rest of the trail in good condition with a few wet spots from melting snow.

 On April 25 I cycled to the Suffolk road, Pics 2 & 3 are near Suffolk and I walked the bike over them.

Last pic is at Royalty Junction, one side is open all the way. Day time high temperature was around 10 both days.

York in April

Today was the first time cycling to York this season. About 500 meters pass York the trail is blocked with snow. Also quite a bit of snow at the Royalty junction.

Wet trail

Yesterday I cycled the trail from the Mall to Hampshire. The trail west of the fire school still had a lot of snow along one side of the trail and in a couple it was all the way across the trail.
With the summer bike it is tricky cycling in soft snow.

Milton trail

Today I was checking out the trail in the Winsloe and Milton area, still a bit of snow in places.
It was -3 early this morning but was +5 while I was cycling and a NW wind 25 gusting to 40 km/h.

UPEI

Today I cycled though the empty campus at UPEI and onto Allen street on the trail. I then cycled to Winsloe and to home, getting home just as the rain started.

On April 11 I cycled around Sunrise Cove subdivision at the end of my ride.

New Haven

Today I cycled to New Haven, video taken as I was traveling east on the TransCanada highway.
I was using my summer bike, a Giant Cypress. Temperature was +7 with a SW wind gusting at times to 30 km/h.

Maple Ave

I was cycling around Charlottetown, video taken traveling west on Maple Ave.
Temperature 2 with a NE wind blowing 25-30 km/h

April 3

I cycled to UPEI, then to Winsloe and on to Cornwall.
Temp was 6 but windy, NE wind gusting to 50+ km/h

Cycling in mist

A lot of mist in the air, temp 3 with a north wind of 25-30 km/h.

No problem with Social distancing here, I had the shoulder of the road all to myself.

I was cycling west on the TransCanada Highway west of the Cornwall road to the Clyde River bridge.

Cycling TCH

March 25 cycling the TransCanada highway in Clyde river at exit 27.
Sunny at +6 and a light wind. I was cycling for 2 1/2 hours and logged 45 km.

Cycling Winsloe

Today I cycled to Allen street, then to Winsloe and to Cornwall  business park and then to home. I was about 2 1/2 hours and logged 33 km. Full winter dress today, it was a cold -8 with a west wind at 25-30 km/h.

Cycling the highway.

I was cycling this afternoon, took the highway to New Haven and return, then Main street to the business park. There was more traffic on Main street.  It was sunny day with a temperature of +2 but windy, a NW wind of 20 gusting to 30 km/h. I was out for a bit over two hours.

York Point

I was cycling for a couple hours this morning, to the mall, then Winsloe and home. A colder day than yesterday at -5 and a wind chill of -15.

Cornwall exit

Today I was cycling the new highway to the Cornwall road exit, I cycled under the highway bridge and took the highway east. Temperature was +2 and windy.

 Sunday March 8 I cycled to the mall, then to Allen street on the trail.

March 6

First day of cycling in March. I cycled the new highway from the North River intersection to the exit 27 in Clyde River. About 7 km one way, I did most of it twice logging 27 km.

New Haven

Today I cycled to New Haven, video taken on the way home. I was riding east.

Broken stays

On checking the bike before today's ride I found the rear stays had broken away from the frame. Luckily it has a steel frame so a little welding got me back on the road. I was out for two hours, sunny at +3 and a light north wind.

Wendy's

 The ducks were in the water by the North River bridge.

 I was cycling after lunch today, I cycled to the Wendy's on Grafton street. I then took the streets to Winsloe and unto home.

Icy trail

Cycling on the trail on February 21, packed snow and ice and rough, not a good ride.

 Sunday Feb 23 I was cycling on the new highway for a couple hours, highway photos taken near the Clyde river bridge.

The local firefighters were checking out the ladder truck.

Grafton St east

 I was cycling for a couple hours today. I cycled to the mall, then the trail to Grafton st, then to the bypass hwy. The took the roads home going by Winsloe. Sunny but cool, -8 with a WC of -16

Riding TCH

I was cycling for a couple hours today. temperature was -1 but windy, NW wind 30 gusting to 45 km/h. I rode from home to New Haven and back.

Clyde river

I was cycled for 90+ minutes today, I cycled the TransCanada Hwy from home to New Haven and return. First pic is the Clyde river looking south from the bridge, other is the highway. Temp was around -5 with a 20-25 km/h west wind.

Snowshoeing with GoPro

I took the GoPro with me when I went snowshoeing.

Temp was -8 and the wind chill was low in the woods.

one hand operation

Temp at -8 so the snow was dry and easy to blow. I was holding the GoPro in one hand so hard to hold it steady while operating the blower at the same time.

Jan 29 snowshoeing

 This afternoon I was on the snowshoes for 75 minutes and did the 3.5 km loop. The snow drift in photo had a vertical face over a meter, glad I was coming down. Temp was -10 and the wind 35 gusting to 50 km/h

Snowshoe repair

 On the Jan 13 I had a hinge pin on left snowshoe, with the help of a 10 cm spike I was able to repair it.

 These photos taken next day near the local woods, I route I normally takes about a hour and I log 3 km.

Yesterday I was cycling the trail between Grafton st and the Charlottetown mall. Paved path is on the NE side of the Joe Ghiz park. I stopped by the Farmers market and the met the cyclist near UPEI.
Mostly sunny at +5 with a light breeze.
