This is the Cornwall United church, it appears that for some reason the gulls like the view from the roof.

Mostly overcast with light snow this evening, Low temp of -8 and a high of 2.5.
15 km on EB this morning, I then curled a game at the club in Cornwall, after lunch was out on the skis for a hour. I attended at Island Trails meeting at 4:00 and the a council meeting at 7:30 and got home at 9:30. Now having a cup of green tea as I post this blog.

Cards

Sunny with light winds, low temp was -6 with a high of 3. 12 km on EB.
I attended a funeral in the morning and in the afternoon went to Montague to visit relatives. This evening I was to Warren Grove to play cards and had high score for the men.

Open water

This is the little hill that I try down hilling when I am out on the skis, today I managed to reach 23 km/h.

Sunny breaks in morning, overcast in the afternoon, light wind. Low temp was -13.5 and the high 0. 12 km on EB. I visited a neighbor in morning, skiing after lunch and a town meeting at 4:30 PM. Attended a wake for the mother of a friend this evening.

Tulips

Island grown tulips available this week at the Superstore. They bring a bit of spring into the house which is appreciated in mid January.

This part of the ball field is well used with ski tracks, snow shoe tracks and regulator foot prints.

Sunny with light wind and a low temp of -11 and it was -8 when I was out on the skis.
After lunch I was on the skis for 90 minutes and logged 6.5 km, 10 km on EB as well. I then watched the curling game which came on at 2:00 PM.

Fields

One of the fields that I ski in, hard to see it but light snow was falling.

This field is about 2 km form home.

I had breakfast with the Hams at Maggie's, after lunch was skiing for a hour, logged 5.6 km. Watch a curling skins game and went to cards in Hampshire in evening. 10 km on EB.

Chickadee

The pair of Chickadees were back but only got one in the photo.

The sunset shows the clear break in the cloud line as the sky started to clear.

Overcast with a few sunny breaks, low temp was -3.5 and a high of 1.5.
I went to the stores at the Charlottetown mall area this morning and visited relatives in North Wiltshire after lunch. I was out skiing in late afternoon for a hour and covered 3.8 km. It was hard work as the snow was soft and some bare spots starting to show. 12 km on EB.

Grain field

Stubble in grain field about 2 km from home, as you can see, very little snow.

Cloudy with light wind, low temp was -4 and a high of 1. 10 km on EB.
After lunch I went skiing for 90 minutes, by the GPS I travelled 6.7 km and at one point had a top speed of 22.7 km/h. I have started getting Aspen ready for a new season, I have repacked the wheel bearings but had to order a shaft and bearings for the bottom end. Also the chain needs replacing, 5,000 km seems to be the life of a chain. When I was at the bike shop ordering the parts, The new bikes on the showroom floor were tempting, some of them are on sale.
