More snow

About 4 cm of fresh snow with a temp of 1. Late afternoon I was on the snowshoes for a hour, no fresh tracks in this area.
Although the creek is now frozen, the bridge is still getting lots of use. There were snowshoers using it ahead of me.
I was to the dentist this morning for annual check, she indicated the teeth should be good for a few more years. After lunch a computer tech was here for a couple hours learning about the sound system on the Dell computers. This evening I spend a couple hours keying information into a spread sheet program as the old files were not recognized by the new program.

View from on high.

I was on the roof today clearing the snow of the skylight and checking the venmar.

View of the ball field from the roof. A nice winter day with a high of -5, note that there are no clouds.
I was to the wood lot and walked around using the snow shoes, too much snow on the trees to do any work. Late afternoon I was out on the skis for 45 minutes.

new snow

No fresh tracks in the snow when I went out about 2:00. Note the clear sky and so few clouds.

These are my tracks, I was out for 90 minutes. It was good conditions for skiing.

I tried gliding down this little hill three times, you can see that I got a little farther each time.
I was to Cornwall for a eye exam this morning and attended a Radio Club meeting this evening and there is a hockey game on now that I should be watching.
It was -9 this morning and the high for the day was -4.

Clouds

It is easy to see the edge of the front going by with the straight edge of the clouds.

The weight of the wet snow is causing the saplings to bend cover making arches over the trail.
Light snow all day at -5. I was in Charlottetown in morning, attended a wake in New Glasgow in the afternoon. This evening I played auction cards at warren Grove.

Polar Bear swim

On New Years day I watched over two hundred take part in the swim at the Charlottetown harbour.

This morning for a little while it was snowing at 5 cm per hour, in total we got about 15 cm.
The day started with rain at +3 but by evening it was -2.
I visited with neighbors in the morning, then used the blower to clear the driveway. I then was to The Source to get some DVD disks. Then in the afternoon I made the back up disks for the new computer. I have been spending some time each day on the exercise bike.

Tracks

The snowmobilers were making use of the fresh snow to get out on their machines.

I was out on the skis on December 31, (when these photos were taken) but there was a skier ahead of me making tracks.
There was a couple of snowshoers making tracks as well, but they do not set a straight path.
Today I attended six levees between 10:00 and 5:00 PM.
