Sunny day on trail

This wild apple tree still lots of apples on it, this section of the trail is located in Darlington.

This combine was working in a field of soybean, it appears to be half done, the field is in North Wiltshire. Sunny at 9 and windy today. I cycled Milton to Darlington and back, about 25 km.
I could have cycled more but wanted to get home to watch the World Cup Curling.

Wood lot

I spend the afternoon at the wood lot, this is what it looks like at the start.

I am cutting of the limbs up to about 2 meters. and any volunteer trees that are too close to others.

Looking at the clouds over Charlottetown from across the North River.
We had rain in the morning, sun in the afternoon and some snow this evening.

November 3

Starting at 4, I cycled from Mount Stewart to Brudenell , about 35 km.
This little brook is just before the 48 road.

This the Cardigan river as seen from the trail about 1 km east of Cardigan.
It was mostly sunny with a southwest wind at 30 km/h and a high of 10.

Tuesday Nov 2

The Confederation Trail in Kensington near the Frosty Treat dairy bar.

Business was slow today at the Frosty Treat.

The beavers were busy in Breadalbane, they had felled the bigger tree across the trail, but we were able to move it to the side.
It was sunny at 10. Myself and another TO got a ride to Summerside with our bikes, we then cycled the trail to Hunter River where I had left my vehicle. the trip was about 40 km.

Hillsborough river

The shore line of the Hillsborough river near the QEH at low tide. This is looking north up the river.
Same location looking south towards the harbour, you can see Charlottetown in the background.

Myself and another TO cycled from Emerald to Borden and return. In two places there were small trees across the trail, I carry a camp saw and we were able cut them and take them off the trail. Mostly sunny with a high of 9 but it was only 5 when we finished the ride.

Wood lot

Although it is Tuesday morning, this is Monday's post. I spend a couple hours at the wood lot in the afternoon.
This part of the lot that was replanted five years ago, the bigger trees are volunteer trees that lived though the clearing of the lot.
A very quit Halloween at our house, only two children came to the door.
