Confederation Trail

It was mostly sunny at 7 when I was cycling, I cycled from the Farmers market to the Loyalist road on the trail, about 16 km. The trail in the Winsloe area was like summer.

At Royalty Junction towards Brackley was this snow bank, so I left it for another day.
By the time I got home from cycling I had logged 35 km.
I was to Hampshire for cards and it was snowing as I came home.

Evening clouds

The North River at low tide, photo taken around 6:00, nice clouds in the sky.

There was a few breaks in the clouds. I was to Montague and them went cycling in the evening.
I was using the old bike that I had repacked the wheel bearing but I didn't torque the axle nut enough and the wheel shifted. So I had to cut the ride short and come as I didn't have a wrench with me. I still logged 20 km.

As you can see from the flag, a strong breeze from the northwest. I cycled into Charlottetown, then took the trail from Grafton St to the Royalty road and came home by Winsloe logging 33 km.

Busy day

I was in Charlottetown this morning getting bicycle parts, The old bike that I was using during the winter needs new bearing in bottom end and I got a new chain for the new bike. I also looked at some new bikes, I was tempted but didn't purchase yet.
I installed the new chain but still have to install the bearings. I attended a board meeting late in the afternoon and then a radio club meeting this evening. Mostly sunny at 4 but did not get to go cycling.

From the foot prints on the trail, there was a few people making use of the trail.

This section of the trail goes from Mount Stewart towards Cardigan.

I could hear geese out on the marsh but I couldn't see them.
It was sunny at +1 with a cold north wind at 30-40 km/h.
