I was cycling after lunch, I cycled the road to the Farmers Market (closed today) and the cycled the trail to Milton and back to the Lower Malpeque road.
At the Royalty Junction there was a fair sized tree down across the trail. So I went to work on it with my camp saw.
At the butt end it was all I could cut with my saw, I was wishing I had my chain saw with me.
It was overcast with a 20 km/h breeze with a temperature of 9.

A wew bit of snow
A wee bit of snow overnight. Temperature was around zero all day, very windy until late afternoon, most of the day gusting to 70+ km/h. I was to Hunter River for a excellent roast beef dinner at the church.

Cycling new part of trail
After lunch I drove to Mount Herbert and started cycling from there. Mount Herbert is next to Stratford.
The first photo is the start of the trail in Mount Herbert.
This rest area is in Mount Albion, the trail in this area is very soft, the fine gravel has not been rolled yet.
I was using the old bike with the bigger tires.
I turned to go back at the Hemlock trees in Lake Verde, it was about 16 km one way.
This double culvert is dated 1930 is located in Mount Albion. Sort of interesting to see what was used for rebar. Overcast all day with a very light breeze with a afternoon high of 8.

Evening clouds
The setting sun was highlighting the clouds.
Looking to the south the clouds were more a normal colour..
I visited CTC and visited a sister in the morning and was working around home for the afternoon.
A mix of sun, clouds and at times rain showers with a high of 6.

Red oak
This red Oak is still holding onto its leaves even with the wind gusting in excess of 70 km/h yesterday.
Our new Canadian Tire store has just opened, I haven't got to visit it yet, maybe tomorrow.
According to the Guardian write up on the store, it is 64,000 sq ft with 14 service bays and a staff of 185.
A high of 2 today with showers and a bit of snow all day. Again no cycling but did attend a funeral this afternoon, a member of the radio club.
