I started cycling 15 years ago for the exercise.
Motto: Slow and steady is the way to go.
I now spend a lot of time on the trail as a volunteer.
I like to travel as well, normally by car but for the long distances I will fly.
2-3 cm of snow here this morning, all gone now. I understand the west end had 20-25 cm of snow and some places were without power. High temp for the day was +3 and is at zero now. No cycling today.
I heard the forecast that the Maritimes were getting hit by a big snowstorm, is that normal for April? We got some snow this weekend as well in Southern Quebec, about an inch or two, but same thing, it all melted quickly when the sun came out.

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say normal but it is not unusual either. With this storm, it was the west end of the Island that got hit the worst.
