Two cruise ships all taller than the trees and buildings of Charlottetown, photo taken from across the North River.

Pumpkins
A field for pumpkins partly harvested, this is in York.
The fall colours are starting to show on some trees, this was taken in Tracadie Cross.
I helped with the Raise A Reader program this morning in Cornwall. At 4:30 I drove to Winsloe and with another TO we cycled to Tracadie Cross and back to Winsloe arriving back at 7:50 PM.
It is now dark at 7:30 so we were using lights from York to Winsloe.
Another warm day a 24.

Today's question is what is the propose of the device shown in the close up below?
This will be a hard one.
This afternoon I took part in the Cenotaph parade in Cornwall with the firefighters.
Then in the evening I drove to Milton and cycled from Milton to Hunter River and back to Milton logging 35 km. The temp was 13 when I started cycling but down to 8 went I got back home.

Giant egg
This coloured egg is in the town park in Vegreville.
Route 13 has a nice paved shoulder to cycle on.
This machine is at the Sodbuster's museum in Strome. Can anyone tell me what it was used for?
Overcast with showers in morning and rain this evening. I helped a neighbor cut up a large tree this morning, it needed the 24" chainsaw as it was over three feet in diameter. I then repaired a leaking faucet. I was surprised that when I went for parts, there was no charge because it was a Moem and at least 30 years old. I then mowed the lawn just finishing before the rain started.

Crows
This afternoon I drove to Milton and then cycled to Fredericton and back to Milton logging 50 km. On the way back it started to rain as I was coming into Hunter River. So I rested for 20 minutes in the shelter at the Kent Ellis Park. The crows were checking on me as to why I stopped. One crow flew right inside and landed on the floor checking me out, of course that was before I had the camera out.

Couple of the Trail Officers showing off the new shirts
.
The evening mist drifting across the the trail
This was taken just west of Ellerslie of the mist over a bog along side the trail.
This evening along with three other TO's, we drove to Wellington and then I cycled to MacNeil Mills and back to Ellerslie logging 30 km. It had been raining before we started cycling, and the trail was still wet which made for harder cycling.

Vernon River to Uigg
Seven km of trail from Vernon River to Uigg is nearing completion, it still needs the fine gravel to be added.
This is the start at Vernon River, although it was raining at times, there was 5 cyclists and about 2 dozen hikers turned out to go the 7 km to Uigg. I cycled both ways and logged about 18 km.
This afternoon we drove to Montague in the rain.

Clouds
Photos were taken just west of Hunter River.
Although there were clouds but no rain, but I was talking to a resident from Uigg and he said they had a heavy rain shower. I cycled around town this morning. I was doing yard work this afternoon and this evening I cycled Hampshire to Glen Valley and back on the trail, I logged 44 on the trail and 16 around town. The high temp was 22.

More tractors
Not many Silver Kings on PEI, this one is older than I am.
Two nicely restored Fords, a 8N & 9N.
A nice line of David Brown's, although the 950 on the end of the line needs some work. I believe the tractor on the far end is International, not sure why it got in line.
Showers in morning, some sunny breaks in the high teens. Seems like I spend the day at the town office, I was there at noon, again for a meeting at 4:30 and a second meeting at 6:30.

Nice boat
This Yacht was docked at the Charlottetown harbour this afternoon.
This building is on the waterfront and is a restaurant. Can anyone tell me which restaurant?
Sunny at 21 and reasonable strong winds from the west. After lunch I cycled into Charlottetown and out the trail to the mall, then home on the highway. On the way in with the wind on my back I was clocking 58 km/h crossing the river. On the home with the wind in my face it was much slower, four gears slower than normal. After supper I cycled to the Terry Fox complex and back home logging 40 km for the day.

Earl's clouds
The evening sunset though the clouds as Earl approaches.
Playground in Breadalbane, a very nice playground for a small village.
Another hot day at 30. I mowed the lawn this morning, I believe I cut it every Friday for five weeks now. After lunch I drove to Hampshire, cycled from Hampshire to Breadalbane and back to Hampshire logging 50 km.

Farmer plowing
Hard to believe that the fall plowing is under way and it is only September 1.
We set a heat record today, sunny at 32. This morning I attend a news confederance on football in Cornwall. This afternoon I cycled from Royalty Junction to Mount Stewart and back logging 56 km. If I had realized that it was going to be so hot, I would have shorten the ride. I attended a Radio Club meeting this evening.
