This small bird was on the traveled part of the trail and I cycled pass it. I stopped thinking it was a young bird just out of the nest. I took this photo, and erred in zooming in and taking anotherphoto from where I was standing. I took a couple steps towards it and all three just flew away. If you are able to zoom in , you can see it has a long beak.
Lots of dandelions in North Wiltshire. Sunny at a cool 15 and a north wind.This morning I guided a group of 10 hikers around Cornwall on the trails for 90 minutes.
