Lady Slippers

This evening I was cycling from Richmond to Portage, it was in Portage were I saw these Lady Slippers. We had a short rain shower in Portage as well.

This photo was taken yesterday in the Cardigan area. This year there seems to be lots of Lady Slipper flowers, some years I am lucky to see one bunch.
I attended a funeral of a neighbor this morning. After lunch I had to replace two broken spokes in rear wheel of Cypress. Mostly sunny in mid twenty's.

    Everyone is spotting Lady Slippers and I haven't seen one in 12 years.

    Hi Cindy, I haven't seen any in Queens county, so you need to take a drive to the Cardigan area.
