These photos are of the beavers work in Breadalbane, these trees are on the north side of the trail, the pond is on the south so all the wood has to be moved across the trail.
This is the path from the trail to the pond, so they have made many trips on the path, the trail is about 4 - 5 meters higher than the pond.
The lodge is in the center of the pond behind the branches.Rain all day, I am guessing 40+ mm, very windy in morning with a high of 16.
No cycling today.
Why don't they just swim across?
