Tracks in the snow

I was in Charlottetown this morning, I crossed Kent street using the pedway and got this shot od City hall from the pedway.

I was out on the snowshoes for a hour in late afternoon and came across these fresh tracks in the snow back of the CFCY property. As there were no human tracks in the area, I am guessing the tracks are coyote tracks. If there had being human tracks I would feel dogs tracks.
The snow was quite soft as the temp was around 2 with showers at times.
I visited with some neighbors at the chicken barn in the morning and a sister after lunch.
Although the coyote was following the ski / snowshoe tracks, it was still sinking into the snow
