Grain field

A field of barley just about ready to be harvested.

After lunch I did yard work til 3:00, I then drove to Brackley and cycled from Royalty Junction to Tracadie Cross and back logging 39 km. Total number of km's cycled so far this summer is just under 3,000 km.

I was helping pedal this four wheel bike.
I mowed the grass after lunch and this evening went to Crapaud to take part in the parade, very good parade and lots of people turned out to watch.

I them cycled the trail out to the Charlottetown mall and then took the highway home logging 25 km. Sunny with a high of 29.

It is a good looking field.
I got a ride with my bike to Miscouche this afternoon. I left Miscouche at 5:30 and rode the trail to Hunter River arriving at 8:45 and logging 55 km.

Rain clouds

I started cycling in Milton and had 10 minutes of rain in Darlington, trail was very wet for the next hour. I cycled to the Clyde road and back to North Wiltshire and then back to Hunter River and then to Milton logging 54 km. The temp this morning was a cool 14.

Sunny at 26 with a light wind. After lunch I drove to Mount Stewart, the cycled to St Peters on the trail and back to Mount Stewart logging 54 km on the bicycle.

At this point the strait is 30+ km wide.
Sunny with a high of 25. In the morning I cycled around town logging 20 km. After lunch I mowed the lawn. This evening I attended a cookout at a friend's cottage in Canoe Cove.

300 Milestone

I donated plasma this morning, it was the 300 donation that I have made to the Canadian Blood Services. Raining all at 24, no cycling, I will call it a rest day.

Sunny with a high of 28. Meetings in the morning, after lunch I weeded the garden. This evening I cycled to the Charlottetown mall, the cycled the trail to the Colville road, then back to Milton and then home on the road logging 39 km.

The mouth on the Charlottetown harbour, I thought there would be some sail boats out as there was a nice breeze, but not one to be seen.
Sunny with some clouds at 29. This evening I cycled into Charlottetown and around Victoria park and the trail to the Charlottetown mall and then home logging 22 km.

This afternoon I drove to St Peters and met another TO and we cycled east to Bear River and back to St Peters logging 36 km. Temp was around 28 with full sun and a light breeze.

It was sunny at 28 today. This afternoon I mowed the lawn and after supper I drove to the Colville road in Hampshire. I then cycled to Breadalbane on the trail and back to Hampshire logging 50 km.

This morn I got a ride for me and the bike to O'Leary. There was light rain when I started cycling, I cycled to Richmond logging 39 km. I was somewhat wet when I finished. I attended a firefighters meeting this evening. The temp was a pleasant 21.

Fire weed

It was raining overnight and this morning, 35 mm of rain by noon. Around 2:00 I went cycling around town and then it started to rain again, forecast is for another 30-40 mm. I watched the soccer game until it went into overtime.

I donated plasma in the morning, I did some visiting in North Wiltshire in the afternoon and weeded the garden this evening. No cycling today, I am calling it a rest day.

This morning I cycled around the town and stopped at the town office. This evening I cycled from Winsloe to Hunter River and back to Winsloe logging a total of 58 km.

Monday night ride

There were 14 taking part this evening in the ride. We started at the Sherwood road and rode on the trail west to the Colville road in Hampshire and rode back to the Sherwood road. I logged 29 km for the ride. It was cloudy at times but no rain here, some places not far away got 5-6 mm this morning, high temp was 27.

Trail ride

The group out for a ride this morning, as a group we when from Mount Stewart to Fanning Brook and back to Mount Stewart. I cycled out from Brackley and back to Brackley. I was on the trail for over five hours and logged 71 km.

Canada Day

Canada day was a busy day, pancake breakfast at 8:30, official town opening at 11:00. After lunch I cut the grass and went cycling for a hour, it started to rain and in the evening I watched the fire works from York Point. The high temp for the day was a cool 18
