I started cycling 15 years ago for the exercise.
Motto: Slow and steady is the way to go.
I now spend a lot of time on the trail as a volunteer.
I like to travel as well, normally by car but for the long distances I will fly.
Today I was out for a 6,000 step walk. Still snow in the woods, fields
are almost bare. Where the plank bridge crosses the little creek, I was
surprised how little water was flowing. We were having light rain most
of the day with a temp of +7
I was cycling again today for a couple hours. The North river is
starting to open up a bit by the bridge. A few ducks are taking
advantage of the open water. Today the temp was up to +6 with a light SW wind.
Yesterday I cycled to the mall, then the trail to Joe Ghiz park and back to Winsloe. I then cycled the unopened highway to the Cornwall road and back. I then did a loop of the subdivision where I saw this guy with has trailer doing what?
Looking across the little creek where the log bridge is. No sign of water flowing and the snow is to the top of the bridge. We got 2-3 cm of snow, then 4 mm of rain last night and the temperature was up to +5 today. So I am sure there is water flowing under the snow. The sun was trying to break though the clouds.
I was cycling around Cornwall for a couple hours again today. It was a bit warmer at -2 and sunny so I didn't the need the full face covering, I started with gloves but after 30 minutes I was putting on the mitts.
