Winsloe Rte 2

Cycling on route 2 though the business section of Winsloe. Also cycling one of the roundabouts on the Cornwall road. This afternoon the temp was up to 14 with a 30km/h south wind.

Cycling Joe Ghiz park

Yesterday I was cycling on the trail. Lots of people walking, some with dogs.
I started on the trail at the Charlottetown mall and cycled to Graton Street.

walk in the rain

 Today I was out for a 6,000 step walk. Still snow in the woods, fields are almost bare. Where the plank bridge crosses the little creek, I was surprised how little water was flowing. We were having light rain most of the day with a temp of +7

Victoria park

Yesterday I started using the Cypress, my summer bike. I cycled around Victoria park, from the number of vehicles parked there is lots of people using the boardwalk.

Ice on North River

 I was cycling for a couple hours. Photos taken from the North river bridge looking south.
Tide was going out at the time. Sunny with a temp of +3 and a cool west wind.

Near UPEI

I was cycling for a couple hours today, Lots of people walking the trail near UPEI. Sunny at +5 with a west wind of 25 gusting to 40 km/h. Easy cycling going east but a bit of a workout going west.

Joe Ghiz park

Yesterday and again today I cycled to the Joe Ghiz park and then to the Cornwall road. Much warmer today +5 with a SW wind.

Open water

I was cycling again today for a couple hours. The North river is starting to open up a bit by the bridge. A few ducks are taking advantage of the open water. Today the temp was up to +6 with a light SW wind.

New highway

Yesterday I cycled to the mall, then the trail to Joe Ghiz park and back to Winsloe. I then cycled the unopened highway to the Cornwall road and back. I then did a loop of the subdivision where I saw this guy with has trailer doing what?

Great trail

Yesterday I cycled to the mall and cycled the trail to the Farmers market. I them cycled to Winsloe and back home.

Power shovel

Today I was cycling for a couple hours around Cornwall. The shovel was working on Mercedes drive.

West River

Yesterday I was cycling around Cornwall and checked out the West River estates subdivision that is under construction. Sunny at +2 and later in the day it was up to +7

March 11 snowshoeing

 Looking across the little creek where the log bridge is. No sign of water flowing and the snow is to the top of the bridge. We got 2-3 cm of snow, then 4 mm of rain last night and the temperature was up to +5 today. So I am sure there is water flowing under the snow. The sun was trying to break though the clouds.

Sunday March 10

I was cycling around Cornwall for a couple hours again today. It was a bit warmer at -2 and sunny so I didn't the need the full face covering, I started with gloves but after 30 minutes I was putting on the mitts.

March 9

Saturday cycling again around Cornwall, Miah drive is in a new subdivision with lots of building
taking place. Just as I was getting home there was a light snow shower.

On Friday I was cycling around Cornwall for a couple hours.

Cornwall streets

I was cycling around Cornwall for a hours today. On Monday we got 25 cm of fresh snow.
Today sunny at -5 with a light west wind. I still needed full winter cycling dress.
