Cycling

 I cycled to the mall, then took the trail to Milton, this photo is at Royalty Junction. I used the old bike with the bigger tires today.

The trail looking west, frozen for the most part but in a couple places the sun had started to thaw it.
 
This is in Milton at the second bridge, still a light dusting of snow in the shaded areas.
By the time I got home I had logged 31 km.

A wee bit of snow




 A few snow flurries in the morning, this is what it looked like a noon. It was all gone by evening.
The temperature was steady at -5 for the day.

 After lunch I did some hiking on the trail, this is at Royalty Junction, the stop sign has being  put up for the snowmobiles which get to use the trail on December first if there is snow.

9 km from down town Charlottetown.
I was to the Radio Club Christmas dinner this evening.

Evening clouds

 +14 this morning and windy, gusting at times to 80 km/h. But the temperature was down to 1 by late afternoon.  Rain all day yesterday, and mostly overcast with showers today.

The sun was out for a couple times during the day but still trying as it was setting.

Sand pile

 Around 11:00 I took a walk over to the business park, this is the government sand for the roads.

I can see some farm buildings on the horizon, probably 1 km away.
Overcast all day, snow flurries in the morning at -2, late afternoon showers at 3.

Little snow

 We had a couple cm of snow last night and the temperature was down to -7

Cloudy all day but late afternoon a few breaks in the clouds.

I took a walk for about 50 minutes towards the business park, it was cold enough that the ski-mobile suit felt good.

Sunrise

I was to Montague in the afternoon, still a couple of boats in the water.
I did walk about 1 km on the trail but no one else out. The wind chill had to be a least -15.

Cycling around town

 Sunny at 6 so I went cycling, this view of the waterfront is from the cannons.

 The city decorations are up in Victoria park.

a new condo on Sidney street, not completed yet.
I cycled the streets to Winsloe and then on to home logging 33 km.

Wood lot.

 I was to the wood lot for the afternoon, mostly balsam fir in the area where I  was working .

The clearing where I park, just a bit of snow on the ground, it was sunny at 4 and windy.
I put the snow blower out of the shop in the morning.

Sand pile

It was a cold and windy day, gusting to 60 km/h with a chill of -8 and a bit of snow in the air at times.

Late afternoon I went for a walk, just enough snow that you can see my foot prints on the bridge.
The pile of sand is the government pile of sand for putting on roads.
I was walking for 50 minutes and walked 3 km.

Setting sun

 This was taken with auto setting on the canera.

This one with landscape option, seems the colour is the most difference.
I donated plasma at noon, then cut the grass for my brother inlaw and readied the mower for winter by washing the deck, draining the gas and changed the oil.
I was to Warren Grove in the evening.

Windy day

 Very windy with rain for most of the day. Some small breaks in the clouds and showers.

Although the wind was gusting to 80 km/h out of the SW, this red oak was still holding onto its leaves.
At one time this evening the temperature was up to 12.

Sunday Nov 17

 Sunday morning was another very foggy day.

After lunch I drove to Suffolk and cycled to Mt Stewart, it was misty until I got Tracadie Cross then sun shine the rest of the way.

I turned back at the wetlands just east of Mt Stewart. It was still misty when I got back to Suffolk.

Morning mist

 There was mist in the hallows in the morning. It was cloudy all day with a high of 8.

After lunch I used the mower to pick up the leaves again, then put the mower away for the season.
I then cycled to Suffolk and back home logging 40 km. The temperature was down to 5 by the time I got home at 5:00.
I was to Hampshire this evening.

I was to the wood lot for the afternoon, almost though to the clearing, another afternoon should do it.

I added about another 30 meters today.

 Late afternoon I took walk though the woods to the business park, the setting sun was peeking though the clouds.

This morning I rebuilt a alternator of a Bobcat for a neighbor. The alternator was a old GM model and I had the parts I needed in my tool box

Local woods

 Late afternoon I took a walk in the woods near home, lots of leaves here.

This is one of the blow down trees that cleared yesterday. It was a maple and still sound.
After lunch I attended a funeral for one of the radio club members.

Light rain when I walked the woods, the row of trees at the edge of the business park have grown.

The little bridge is still holding up, should be good for another winter.

This spruce blew down doing the last few days, its not on a trail so it is okay where it fell.

Start of winter

 A bit of light snow on the cars at -2 this morning.

 I was out cycling for a couple of hours after lunch. This freighter was unloading 15,000 tons or so of crushed rock.

The trail at Royalty Junction was snow covered but in Winsloe the trail was bare and dry.
Sunny in the morning but overcast in the after noon with a high of 4.

 The crow was walking around a parking lot in Charlottetown, not sure what it was holding in its beak.

I was to the wood lot for a couple hours, this what the sky looked like at 4:45, the moon was already high in the sky.
I was to Hampshire this evening, a mix of rain/snow when I was coming home. Temperature at zero.

 After lunch I cycled to the mall, then took the trail to Hampshire.
This cement boom truck was working in the industrial park near the airport.

I then cycled back to Milton and took the road home. This wooded area is near the Loyalist road.
It was mostly cloudy with a few sunny breaks with a high of 4.

Cycling in Fredericton

 I cycled from Hampshire to Fredericton today, this photo is near Fredericton.

This walking bridge is across the river in Hunter River.

This photo of the sun setting was taken in Hampshire about 4:15.
I attended a cycling meeting in the morning that lasted til 12:30 and was at a radio club meeeting this evening.
Mostly sunny at 9 with a strong breeze out out of the SW.
