Canada Geese




Sunny at 20, some clouds this evening. In the morning I was to Town office, Visited a sister in Warren Grove who gave me a pumpkin. At 4:00 I cycled on the road to Winsloe, Then cycled on the trail to Tracadie Cross where I met two Trail Officers (TOs) and the three of us cycled to BJ's in Brackley. I then cycled to Charlottetown Mall on the trail, then cycled home by the road arriving at 7:30 PM and logging 58 km.

Pond




Sunny breaks at 20, rain this evening. Starting at 4:00 I drove to Iona with another TO and cycled from Iona to Murray River on the trail, logged 30 km. 10 km on EB this morning.

Confederation Trail




20 mm of rain in morning, some sun by late afternoon. At 5:00 I cycled to Charlottetown to be on CBC with Bloomer to promote the Down East event which starts Friday evening. I then cycled on the trail to Milton and then home by the road.

Sunday



Overcast at 15, 20 mm rain forecast for tonight. I was to church this morning, joined the firefighters in a Cenotaph parade in Cornwall in the afternoon, late afternoon visited a sister who is celebrating her 75 th birthday. No cycling today.

Airplane


Mostly sunny at 15, windy in the afternoon. I had breakfast with retired firefighters this morning at the Top of the Park. This afternoon I cycled from Winsloe church to Rte 6 in Bedford and back on the Confederation trail logging 31 km. There was a fair number of other cyclists out as well.
This evening I was to my daughter's visiting and left my camera there, so no new photos today.

Rain day

Overcast with showers, temp 13 and windy. I was to town office in morning, around home in the afternoon. Visited with friends in Stratford this evening.

Trail in Coleman



Sunny at 20 with some wind. Donated plasma this morning. At 3:00 went with other TO's to Portage. Then cycled from Portage to O'Leary and to Coleman and back to O'Leary logging 30 km. Arrived home at 9:00 PM.
Photos were taken on trail in Coleman, a few trees are turning colour.

Mostly sunny at 20 with winds during the afternoon gusting to 50+. Visited a sister this morning, finished the roofing after lunch, late afternoon cycled from Milton to Hunter River and back logging 35 km. Attended a meeting this evening.

Sunny at 22. Spend the day working on barn roof, almost finished. To Cornwall at 7:00 PM for meeting. No cycling.

Sunny with a high of 22. Spend the day working on barn roof. At 4:45 attended town meeting.
Got home at 6:45 and then changed the oil in my car. No cycling. 8 km on EB.

Golf




Mostly sunny at 17 with a stiff breeze out of the west. Played 9 holes of golf with the firefighters in afternoon. This evening I cycled from Milton to Darlington and back logging 24 km. When I got home at 8:00 pm the temp was down to 9.

More sunsets



Mix of sun and cloud at15. I helped with the making of pickles this morning. After lunch cycled to the Joe Ghiz park for photos with Minister Docherty promoting the Down East Cycling event that is taking place on Oct 2-4. I spend the rest of the day shingling the roof of my shop.

Tractor


Cloudy all day, forecast was for 5 mm rain but never came, high temp was 15. I was in Charlottetown this morning getting $400 worth of roofing material as I am doing the roof of the shop for the the next week or so. Meeting at the town office this afternoon. Some friends visiting this evening. No cycling. Photo is a Farmall H tractor. My brother inlaw had one just like this for many years.

mostly sunny at 17, at 8:00 PM only 11. This afternoon drove to Montague to visit with friends, one was celebrating a birthday. This evening cycling to Charlottetown mall, then to Suffolk on the trail and backtracked to home logging 38 km.

Artesian well



Light rain all day at 18, forecast was for showers, however it was continual. This afternoon drove to St Peters with two other TOs. Cycled from St Peters to Harmony Junction, logging 27 km. There was light rain all the way, when we left home the word from the east that it was not raining.

Spruce trees




Sunny at 16. This morning I donated plasma, after lunch mowed the lawn and this evening I drove to Milton and cycled to Hunter River and back to Milton logging 35 km on the trail.

Fall colours



Sunny at 17 and light wind. I cycled from home to Mount Stewart this afternoon for a meeting with the Island Trails group and had a meal afterwards and then got a ride home. Logged 45 km for the day. Sun flowers & onions



Sunny with a high of 16. More cleaning of windows and helped with making of pickles. Late afternoon cycled to town office for committee meeting, logging 10 km.
This evening attended a retired firefighters meeting.

Missing bridge



Cloudy this morning, sun in afternoon at 18. No cycling today. In Charlottetown for errands this morning. Cleaning windows in afternoon. At town office at 4:30 for committee meeting.

Tignish



Sunny at 18 with winds 30 gusting to 50 km.
I left home at 2:30 and drove to Elmsdale with another TO. We then cycled from Elmsdale to Tignish and back to Elmsdale, logging 56 km. It was 10:00 PM when I got back home.

John Deere



Sunny with a high of 17, this evening as I finished my bike ride, it was only 8.
At 5:45 I started in Milton and cycled to Hunter River and back to Milton, logging 35 km.

Old Tractors



Sunny at 21 with light wind, forecast for tonight is 10. I was to a old tractor show in Bonshaw, lots of tractors like the one we had on the farm when I was a boy. Cycled to Warren Grove this evening, logged 10 km.
