I started cycling 15 years ago for the exercise.
Motto: Slow and steady is the way to go.
I now spend a lot of time on the trail as a volunteer.
I like to travel as well, normally by car but for the long distances I will fly.
Today I cycled to the Farmers market, lots of people around. I then cycled trail to the bypass, then roads to Winsloe and home. Temp was around zero but the wind was out of the north gusting to 50+ km/h.
Today I started cycling the trail at Belvedere Ave and cycled to Royalty Junction. Still snow between Sherwood road and the Junction. I turned back at the Junction and took the Royalty road to Winsloe.
Sunny at +5
We got 7 cm of snow overnight but by 3:00 PM most of it had melted. The chap with the fat tire bike was out on the trails. I was out for a 45 minute walk and a couple others had been walking before me.
Sunny at -2 but windy.
Today I cycled to the mall, then to Belvedere Ave and then the trail to Royalty road, there was a couple places where the snow covered the trail I was able to cycling over it without getting of the bike. It was overcast with temp of +3 and a very light west wind.
