Trail

 I was cycling this evening with the Hunter River group, we cycled to Clark's fill and back.

 This wash out is in Hunter River, the wash out happen in the spring and was repaired in the past week.

This potato field is located in North Wiltshire.
A mostly sunny day with a high of 25 with light wind.

Seagulls & Sailboats

 I went cycling this evening around Victoria Park, these gulls were on the lawn near the canons.

 One sailboat was heading out.

There was a power boat coming in, not sure what it was towing, sort of looks like a rubber dingy.
I spend most of the day doing some maintenance around the house.
It was a hot day, close to 30 with very little breeze.  The forecast was for showers this evening, while cycling I just had one little sprinkling of rain. 15 minutes after I got home it just poured for 15-20 minutes.

Wood Islands

 This morning I cycled from Wood Islands to Murray River and back. this blueberry field is near Hopefield.

The start of the trail in Wood Islands, the first 4 km is not old rail bed so it is hilly with sharp curves.
Mostly sunny with a high of 29 and a southwest wind gusting at times to 45 km/h

Clouds

 I mowed the lawn this morning, it was hot and humid . It was threating rain all day but it missed us.

I was cycling with the Sherwood road group this evening, we had 20 cyclists and went a far as Hampshire.
There was a couple of time there was a little sprinkle but never really rained on us.

Roses

 This church in New Dominion is scheduled to close this fall, in fact today's service may have been the last one.
 I cycled to the Mall, then took the trail to North Wiltshire and then home logged 50 km.
These roses are on the edge of the bridge at the North River.

Some white ones there as well.  We had a high of 27 today with a southeasterly wind gusting to 40-45 km/h

O'Leary

 Today's ride was O'Leary to Elmsdale and back to O'Leary. There were 15 cyclists take part in the ride.

Round trip was about 36 km and 10 cyclists cycled both ways.  A warm 27 with a west wind gusting to 40 km/h.

Various watercraft

 I cycled around Victoria park and saw these canoeists in the harbour.

 And the Hippo was making the round of Victoria park before going into the harbour.

I then cycled the trail to Milton and took the lower Malpeque road home. This personal watercraft was in the North River on the north side of the bridge. Mostly sunny with a high of 24.

Potato field

 Potato field in Hampshire, it was our farm many years ago.

 I cycled from the mall on the trail to North Wiltshire, at this fill in North Wiltshire there is over 350 meters of guard rail.

 The fill would have been called Clark's fill, I believe it is about 25 meters high.

Trail in Milton, I cycled over 30 km on the trail. The temperature was in the low twenties when I was cycling but it reach 29 in the afternoon with a humdex 37

Fred

 Fred our resident snake was resting on the compost pile today.

 Fred turned his head to look at the camera but other than that never moved.

One of our Hosta are starting to come out in bloom.
I moved the lawn in the morning while it was cooler, the high for the hat was 28.
I had planed to cycle in the evening but didn't go, so today is a rest day.

Monday evening ride

 This photo is in York, the group is just stopping for a break. We had 23 cyclists in the ride this evening.
We went to the Suffolk road before turning back. We had one cyclist who had a flat tire so I was able to show my skills in installing a new tube and pumping it up.

I was cycling in the morning, the Charlottetown loop and to Montague in the afternoon.

Uncover the Island ride

 A nice field of potatoes near Summerside.

 The leg of Uncover the Island that we we doing today was Summerside to Breadalbane.
About 31 km. Although many are not in the photo, there was about 30 in the group today.

 The trail is close to the highway in New Annan.

We took a break in Kensington, the town supplied some fruit trays for us to snack on.
It was good temperature for cycling when we started but by the finish the temperature was near 28 with a light wind.

Wetlands

 This wetland and duck pond is about one km east of Mount Stewart.
A nice planked walkway out to the viewing platform.

 The view is not great from the platform because the trees are filling out.

I started cycling in Suffolk and cycled to the Wetlands and back, about 40 km.
This afternoon I finished mowing the lawn and did some weedinging the garden.
A sunny day with a high of 26.

 This afternoon I cycled from Brackley to York and back, Light rain / mist at times.
 I believe these are black-eyed susans.

 I am sure these are daisies .

This evening I cycled from Hunter River to Hampshire and back, and just missed a rain shower. It was starting just as I was loading the bike. Temperature was around 22 all day.

Boats

 Ellen creek at low tide.

 These sail boats and a fishing boat are in the Charlottetown harbour.

This pleasure boat is in the North River north of the bridge.
This morning I cycled to Charlottetown, then to the Trail at the Joe Ghiz park and took the trail to Winsloe and then cycled the road home. We had rain in the afternoon with a temperature of 29 and a humdix of 39.

I mowed the front lawn , then attended a meeting. It rained all afternoon.
I was to Long Creek for cards this evening.

The new Canadian Tire store is taking shape, no word yet on when it may open.
I donated plasma today, it was raining in the morning

 This wild violet was on the side of the trail.
This evening I cycled with the Sherwood road group, we had 12 cyclists today.
We  cycled to the Loyalist road and back, a distance of about 25 km.

 Today I cycled from the Joe Ghiz park to Milton on the Confederation trail. This is the new Red Cross building as seen from the trail.
