Canada geese


Sunny at 25 with light wind today. I drove Aspen to Mount Stewart and cycled towards Cardigan and the back to Mount Stewart, I was over three hours and logged 51 km. Near the 48 road geese were on the trail, I took photo while stopped and then took video while cycling, I should have walked up to them, that is why the video is rather poor.
8 km on EB this morning. Red Wings had a good game last night but tonight it will be Crosby.

Strawberry blossoms




overcast with some sunny breaks in the low 20's, very light wind. 4 mm of rain last night.
this morning cycled 18 km around town and this evening cycled from Milton to Hunter River and back on trail for at total of 54 km. Photos, field of grain, dark clouds in Hunter River and a patch of wild strawberries blossoms in Milton. 7 km on EB.

Crab apple tree

48 Road





Overcast with sunny breaks at 15 and light wind. Donated plasma at noon time. this evening drove with Aspen to 48 Road and cycled from there to Montague and back to 48 Road.
Logged 48 km.
Photos are of a beaver pond and the methods used to try to keep the water flowing. Blossoms are on a apple tree on side of trail. 10 km on EB as well.

O'Leary



I am late posting for May 27 As it was late when I got home. Yesterday evening was overcast at 15
I drove to O'Leary and cycled with a group of six that arrived for a scheduled ride. I logged 7 km with the children and afterwords the other Officer & myself cycled to Bloomfield and back for another 20 km. 10 km on EB as well.

Emerald





Sunny with a high of 14, as I post this it is 9. Planted a row of beans and some flowers today.
Started cycling in North Wiltshire and cycled to Emerald and then back to North Wiltshire. About 3 hours and 50 km. 10 km on EB this morning. Photos are the park in Emerald and the fork in the trail and you have to decide if you want to go to Kinkora or Kensington.

Hunter River




Sunny at 20+ at noon, this evening down to 12 and when I return from cycling it was only 10.
I started in Milton and cycled to Hunter River on the Confederation Trail and then returned to Milton, 2 hours and 33 km. Photos at the Dr Kent Ellis Park in Hunter River. 10 km on EB.
Personally it has being a rough week as today the funeral was held for a neighbour and friend that I have known for 45 years.

Montague





Sunny and a temp of 24, strong south winds 30 gusting to 50. Cut the grass this morning.
This afternoon took Aspen to Montague and cycled the trail from Montague to Cardigan area and back. Logged 34 km. Photos, two are the docks in Montague river, one of trail leaving Montague along side the river and the fourth one is a view of Lower Montague across the river.

Rain again



Rain in morning, stopped for awhile around noon, started again this evening. by noon we had 18 mm of rain. Temp high was 9. I cycled around town on Aspen for total of 26 km.

New record for daily km's



Sunny at 18 with light wind. This morning I cycled to Charlottetown, then to York, back to Milton and then home. km logged 44. This even I cycled to Milton, then to Charlottetown and home by Queen street. Logged 30 km, total for the day 74 km.

Garden



Sunny at 20 with strong winds. Doing yard work today. About 7:30 I cycled to Milton , took the trail to Charlottetown and then came out Queen street and the TCH to home. logged 30 km.

York and beavers




Sunny at 20 with strong winds, as least 40 gusting to 55. I mowed the lawn and planted some of the garden. At 4:00 I took the bicycle to York and cycled to St Peters Lake. 35 km, I had lobster with friends and got a ride back to York so I didn't cycled back. Photos are Vessey's flowers in York, Stumps of trees that beaver fell, ( must had deep snow at the time) and a beaver in the pond. 10 km on EB this morning.

Sunny at 15 with light wind today. I started cycling in Milton and cycled to Hunter River & back to Milton, later I cycled into Cornwall & back home, logged 45 km.

Confederation Trail



Cycled to the Charlottetown Mall, Took the trail to Colville road and back to Milton then the highway home. Logged 34 km. Showers this morning, sunny at 10 this afternoon with light wind.

Rain, rain go away



rained 20 mm last night, rained most the day, temp now at 3 and windy, gusting to 70 km/h.
Photos taken in ball field, the one with the trees is the same location where a couple of months ago there was 2-3 meters of snow. The other is the water going across the infield.
No cycling today on EB or Aspen. Rest day.

Sunny with a high of 20 and light winds. I started cycling in Brackley (BJ's trucks) and cycled to Scotchfort and then back to Brackley. I was two hours and 30 minutes and logged 43 KM.

Woods




Rain this morning at 10, cloudy this afternoon, I went cycling at 6:00 PM temp was 8. I cycled to Allen St in Charlottetown and then took the trail to Milton and came home on the Warren Grove road. Logged 30 km for the trip. Photos are wet area in woods, trail in woods by ball field, This one that I skied on, now it is a walking trail. Rhubarb patch



Overcast with mist at 8 this morning at 9:00 AM when I was cycling, cycled around town for an hour, logged 20 KM. Rain this afternoon at 10.
