Eagle

This afternoon I was doing a survey in Morell, afterwards I cycled from Morell to Five Houses and back to Morell. I saw this eagle as I was crossing the Marie river. When it started to fly I can see it had caught what I think may be a eel.

While I was doing the survey this squirrel came along and gave me a scolding.
It was a sunny day at 24 with a light wind.

We got a much needed rain overnight, my gauge showed 38 mm.

The rain was over by parade time, over a hundred floats and lots of people out to watch it.

At least six old tractors, I am guessing that this Massey is about 60 years old.
I cut the grass this afternoon, temp was up to 28. I cycled into the parade and after the parade I cycled to Winsloe, then to home.

Morning mist

When I started cycling around 9:00 there was a mist / fog in the air, by 10:00 it had lifted but no sun.

I cycled to marker 150 in Hazel Grove. I then cycled back to Milton.

I turned at marker 172 in Milton so it was 22 km each way. It was cloudy until about 5:00 PM and then rained. We were visiting family in Hampshire and when we got home my rain gauge only showed 3 mm so we didn't get the shower that was in Hampshire. Temp was in mid twenties.
