Potato fields

 A field of potatoes near Freetown getting some extra water.

 Today I cycled from Breadalbane to Kensington and back. The Hogg trail is just east of Kensington.

It was in the low 20's while I was cycling but the high for the day was 28+

Fredericton

 Today the group cycled from Hunter River to Breadalbane and back. This photo is the trail at Fredericton.

This is at the gates at the Clyde road. It was sunny and at temp around 25 at the time, later in the day it was 29.

Horse country

Today I cycled from Milton to the Clyde road in Hazel Grove and return. The private horse paddock is located on the Clyde road and I can see it from the trail.
A mostly sunny day with a high of 25 but midafternoon we had a 20 minute thunder storm with gave us about 2 mm of rain. There was one lighting strike that the time between the flash and the thunder was less than two seconds. It certainty got our attention

Boats

 This evening I cycled to Victoria park, lots of people around.
I then cycled the waterfront across town to the Joe Ghiz park. Most the boats are in the marina.

I took the trail out to the mall. I was planning on going to Winsloe but I could see a thunder storm over Winsloe so I headed for home. I got home just before the rain started but we were on the edge and only got a couple mm of rain.

Barbecue

 This evening I was to a barbecue in Canoe Cove.
A nice evening, sunny with a temp of 27 and a light breeze.

The boats at the West River bridge are anchored for the night.

Wild roses

 Today I cycled with a group from Mount Stewart to Morell and back. In the Morell the is wild roses along the trial for several km's. 
A sunny day with a temp of 20-22 when we were cycling, later in the day it reached 28.

Logs

 I was at the wood lot all day, For my labours I have this pile of saw logs.

And this pile which will be firewood.
A high temp of 22 made for a good day for the woods. It was windy, Charlottetown was recording gusts to 60 km/h.

Fox cubs

 This evening I cycled to the mall, then cycled with the Sherwood group to Suffolk and back.

On the way though the industrial park I saw these three cubs on the grass.

Don Harris ride

 Today I cycled from Murray River to Wood Islands as part of the Don Harris century ride. I did the trail ride, 38 km. There also road cycling, a 60 km ad a 100 km loops.

 The Rossignol winery was the start and finish location.
Someone likes working with Island sand stone, He made a nice job of it.

Fred's car

 This evening I cycled from Milton to Hunter River and back.  They are doing repairs to the guard rails. This is the highest fill in PEI, about 22 meters. The location is North Wiltshire.

Hemlock tree

 Today I cycled with a group of 12 from Hazelbrook to Lake Verd. It is in Lake Verd where the Hemlock tree is located, the trail goes both sides of it.

This stand of fireweed is located near Mount Albion. Sunny at 23 with a SW wind gusting to 45 km/h.  Later in the day the temp was up to 29.

This stand of buckwheat is in bloom is located near Fredericton. I started early to be done before the heat.
Sunny at 18 with a light wind when I was cycling.

Lady Slippers

 I was at the wood lot today, it was a while since I have been in this part, several trees down across the trail.

Also found a bunch of Lady Slippers. I should have being here a couple weeks ago as the blooms are also gone.
This evening I cycled York to Scotfort and back. Sunny with a high of 26

Rain day

 Light mist for the first part of the day, steady rain since 4:00. When I see the puddle on the ball field, it means we got a fair amount of rain.

The garden looks like it has perked up after getting some rain.

Breadalbane

 Today I cycled from Breadalbane to Kensington and back. This nice looking field of potatoes was near Kensington.

Near Freetown I saw these Morning Glory's on the side of trail.  I met at least a dozen other cyclists on the trail.  It was overcast with a temp of 16, a good cycling day.

Cutting grass

 I was cycling in the morning, After lunch I put the mower deck on the old mower and cut the clearing at the wood lot.

Mostly overcast with a temp of 15. It did start to rain around 6:30 PM. It is needed, on Tuesday is was raining  in Brackley were I was cycling but we never got a drop in Cornwall.

Robinsons Island

 Only four of us this evening, a couple of light showers maybe the reason for the small crowd.

 We went to the beach and tried our hand at skipping stones.

 Everyone gave it a try.
 A different kind of fish at the waters edge.

A short ride this evening, I only logged 12 km.

Draw the Ace

 This morning I cycled to the Farmers market, lots of cars around. I then cycled the trail to Winsloe.

The main prize on draw the Ace is still growing, if a person was to win it, you would certainly have a big smile.Mostly overcast at 22, looked like it might rain did not here.
