Cycling in the rain

There was six in the cycling group this evening, we got to Milton when the rain started. For a few minutes it was heavy rain so I was wet again but not as wet as I was last week.  Temp was around 20-21

Tignish

This is the start of the trail spur into Alberton, and the station is one of a very few that was build with stone.

 Today I started in Elmsdale and cycled to Tignish and back to Elmsdale.

The sign says 185 km to Charlottetown and I now cycled it all again this summer.
A nice day for cycling, some cloud with a temp of 22 with a very light breeze.

Logs

I had breakfast with  the firefighters in the morning, after lunch I was to the woods and got 9 logs out.
That we keep me busy for a day. After supper I was cycling, to the Mall, then the trail to Winsloe and the home.

Trail

 Today I cycled from Milton to Hunter River and back to Milton. First photo is a section of the trail in North Wiltshire near trail marker 162.
The Dr, Kent Ellis park gazebo in Hunter River.  Mostly sunny with a temp of 25, feels like 30 and a strong SW wind gusting to 50 km/h

Cycling group

e had 10 cyclists in the group, taking a rest in York when photo taken.  We went a s far as the Suffolk road, a little sprinkle of rain started as we back to York. By the time I got to Winsloe it was steady rain and for the rest of the way home.  The temperature was around 20.
Because of the forecast I was using my old bike, I am sure glad I did.

Frosty Treat

This morning I cycled from Breadalbane to Kensington and then cycled back to Breadalbane, about 40 km trip.
I had ice cream at the Frosty Treat before cycling back.
A mostly sunny day at 20 when I was cycling but a 20 km/h south breeze.

Mount Stewart cycling

 17 in the group cycling from Mt Stewart to Cardigan, about half the group turned at the 48 road.

 On the way back I checked on Mooney's pond.

The trail bridge at Mt Stewart had lots of water flowing with the tide coming in.

A mix of sun and cloud with a high temp of 20, it was down to 15 by the time I got home.

 I was at the wood lot for most of the day, The jig for sawing is doing the job, I have milled 12 logs and  I am getting better with practice.

After supper I cycled to Victoria park, then took the trail to Winsloe and home.
I am thinking it had a load of aggregate.

Brackley Commons

This morning we started at the Brackley commons, there was 11 in the group. Some in the group turned at the Loyalist road but a few went all the way to the Colville road before turning. I cycled from home to the mall and then to the commons. So by the time I got home I had logged 45 km.
it was overcast at 20 with a west wind gusting to 40 km/h.

 This evening I cycled to Winsloe, then took the trail to the water front and to Victoria park. Lots of cars and people at the park and around the dairy bar.

St Peters

 St Peters as seen from the trail. Today I cycled from Morell to Five Houses which is about 4 km east of St Peters.

 Lots of places of interest in St Peters plus the VIC can be seen in the background.

A fishing boat and mussel lines in St Peters bay. The buildings in the background are at Greenwich. National Park.  A sunny day at 24 with a 30-35 km/h wind out of the NW.

 I played a round of golf this morning.

Red fox

 We had 13 in the cycling group this evening. We cycled from the Sherwood to Suffolk and back, about 25 km. I saw the fox on the way home along the Upton road.
