Long Creek

I was to Long Creek hall to play auction cards.
A mostly overcast day with a high of 22. No cycling as I spend the afternoon helping a neighbor.

Kensington

 On Sunday I cycled from Breadalbane to Kensington and back. This section of the trail is west of Freetown.

 The only locomotive on the Island is located in Kensington.

 This healthy looking garden snake was on the trail near the Blue Shank road.

 The Flocks are in bloom.

Some of the Monday evening cycling group, it was very windy so it was a small group.
We cycled from the Sherwood road to the Suffolk road and back.
Overcast at 18 and windy.

55+ games

 I spend the day in Montague at the curling club playing cards, 45's in the morning and Auction in the afternoon. All part of the 55+ summer games.

We were using the ice surface of the rink for the card play. The was 84 playing in the afternoon.
I then cut the grass after I got home. A mostly sunny day with a high of 15.

Georgetown

 This evening I cycled into Georgetown, This pic is back of the golf course in Peaks, the trail runs right next the the course.

 The trail is mostly wooded in this area.

On the boardwalk coming into the water front at Georgetown.
There was a shower earlier in the day but none while we were cycling. Temperature around 15.

Lady slippers

 I was cycling with the Wednesday group this evening, we had six in the group. We cycled from Milton to the Union road and back to Milton.  We saw these pink Lady Slippers in the Brackley area.

Mostly sunny with a temperature around 20 with a light breeze, a nice evening for cycling.

Small Hall

 This morning I took part in the 55+ games cycling the trail from Montague to the Junction and back.

Afton

It raining all day, as of 5:00 my rain gauge was showing 75 mm.  Temperature a cool 12.
I donated plasma over the lunch hour and was to Afton hall for card play in the evening.

Tractor show

 I was at a tractor show in Brookfield today, I never saw one of these balers before.

 A New Holland self propelled baler, it uses two engines, one for baling and the other to move it.
  
 Lots of Cockshutt tractors.

 John Deere's as well.
And a nice 240 Farmall. It was sunny at 22 with light breeze.
After lunch I mowed the lawn and then was cycling for a couple of hours.

Cycling Morell to St Peters

 I saw this rabbit on the trail near the Douglas Station road.

 Part of the cycling group on the Morell bridge, we had eight in the group today.

 I was on the Marie river bridge when I got this shot of a eagle on top of a spruce tree.

The village of St Peters. A nice evening for cycling, about 22 with sun and a light breeze.
But there was a lot of black flies, You had to keep cycling.

Beach

 There were seven of us cycling the North shore area this evening, Near Covehead for the first photo.

 Fox was in the Brackley Beach area, the foxes are almost tame.

We are at the edge of the beach on Robinson's Island.
A nice evening for cycling, sunny at 17 with a light breeze.

The Peony is in bloom. Overcast and threatening rain all day and is raining this evening. The temperature a cool 16. No cycling, I was helping a neighbor in the afternoon.

Sherwood ride

We had 25 cyclists in the Sherwood road ride this evening, we all went to the Loyalist road and some went as far as the Colville before turning back. It was a nice evening for a ride, sunny at 16 with a light wind.

Heart & Stroke ride

 There was about 100 cyclists taking part in the ride, about half doing the road and the group trail only.

 I am thinking hauling a trailer would add to the effort of cycling.

Scattered showers at temperature of 15 but the wind was gusting to 45 km/h.

Lobster supper

 This evening I was to the Fire Dept for a lobster supper.

After lunch I cut the grass on the front lawn and then went cycling for a hour.
I got caught in a 10 minute shower which I sat out under a tree. The rain shower for the last minute was pea size hail. We had 12 mm of rain early in the morning then sun for most of the day.

Murray Harbour

 This evening I was cycling the trail from Wood Islands to Murray Harbour, this blueberry field is in full blossom.
 While in Murray Harbour I had a burger at Burhoe's.

I logged 19 km going one way.  Sunny breaks at 21 with a light wind.
I donated plasma in the morning.

A mix of sun and cloud at 18, a bit of light rain in the morning. I spend most of the day helping a neighbor trying to take a engine out of a Bobcat.

Cycling day

After lunch I mowed the lawn, took about two hours. I then went cycling, first to Victoria park, then to the trail at Grafton street, then rode the trail to the bypass highway, then home.
Mostly sunny at 20 but windy, gusting at time to 50 km/h.

Monday ride

 The was 16 in the group this evening starting from the Sherwood road.  We all cycled to York.

Half the group turned back at York, the rest continued on to Suffolk.
It was overcast at 16 with a stiff breeze.
