Windmill & hot air balloon

This windmill is located in Fredericton and as seen from the trail.
I saw this balloon a couple of times but the photo was taked in North Wiltshire, I would guess that it was over Hartsville.

This fire weed is located in North Wiltshire as well.
Mostly sunny with a lot of cloud with a high of 21.
I was to Vernon River this afternoon and this evening cycled from Hampshire to Glen Valley and back.

Rustico Duathlon

I took part in the Duathlon that was hosted by the Cymbria Lions club this morning.
I was doing the cycling leg, 16.8 km. There were 38 cyclists in the event. I was able to average 25 km/h which was good for me considering the headwind and hills.

The rain just started as the cyclists were finishing and the runners were going out.
Still raining as I do this post.

Elmsdale

This rock is in Elmsdale at the corner of the Dock road.

The plaque tells it all.

One of the local landmarks are the grain elevators.
Helping a neighbor this morning and this evening, I got a drive to O'Leary and then cycled to Elmsdale and back to O'Leary. About 36 km.
Rain in morning and sunny in evening at 25.

Rain

This evening (around 5:00) we received 30 mm of rain in a little over a hour.

The garden was flooded and the ball field as well. The high for the day was 20.
I spend the morning with my brother-inlaw helping him size some lumber. Spend the afternoon with a neighbor. No cycling today.

Clouds

Just after lunch I noticed a strange cloud in the west sky.

There was a few rain drops falling at the time but blue sky on all side of it.
I mowed the lawn this after noon and cycled the Emerald to Borden and back this evening, about 37 km. A nice evening for cycling, light wind and about 20.

Canola fields

A close up of the Canola plant in blossom.

This field is located in North Wiltshire, I could see four fields without moving.
A warm day at 28, it got very windy this evening for a while. Late afternoon I cycled Milton to Glen Valley and returned, logging 53 km.

Morning sun

This photo was taken just after 6 AM, the sun appeared a orange red to me, but the camera didn't pick up the colour.
With another TO, I cycled from Mount Stewart to Georgetown Rovalty, for the last hour it was a very light rain, then just after we finished cycling, the rain got serious. That is the third time this week I dodged a rain shower.

Clouds

This unusual cloud was in the sky after a thunder shower in the Sherwood area of Charlottetown. At times the sun was streaming though the hole.

Taken near Maypoint, the sun was getting low so that only the tops of the cloud was illuminated by the sun .
Mostly sunny at 29 with thunder showers this evening. I was cycling from Summerside to Richmond with other Trail Officers this evening, we were lucky to have missed the showers.

Cycling group

There was 19 cyclists in the group this evening, we are taking a rest in Milton and waiting for 4 cyclists to join us. The group cycled 28 km in about two hours.
The fire weed is showing it colours. Rain this morning, about 4 mm and there was showers this evening with a temp of 24.

This afternoon I cycled from Dundee to St Peters, this photo is of the big church in St Peters.
Lots of cyclists on the go today, I counted 36 that I met while I was cycling. A warm day, sunny at 28.

Yesterday when we finished cycling, we visited the Tourist Information location.

and we had a sandwich at the Chew Chew. No cycling today.
I donated plasma this morning and was at a neighbors place for the afternoon.
Threating rain all day but no rain, windy at 16.

River at Mt Stewart

This seal was in the water on the upper (north) side of the trail bridge in Mount Stewart. The tide was coming in and making for a good flow of water.

The video is the flow water coming under the bridge, I was hoping to get the seal in it, but it wouldn't show.
I was cycling this morning in the Mount Stewart area and this evening Wood Islands to Murray harbour. Mostly cloudy and a cool 16 and a strong north wind.

A neighbor helped me trim some trees this morning, I attended a wake this afternoon and was at a retired firefighters meeting this evening. No cycling.

I was cycling this evening with another TO, we cycled from Emerald to Borden and back.

Fox and other items

This young fox was on the trail in Milton near the fire school. This evening I cycled from home to Suffolk road and back by Milton.

This morning I drove to Lakeside and dropped a person off here, I then went cycled for a couple of hours on the trail.

This pair of sweethearts are in a pasture in Cornwall, the story is that they keep the cattle more content. light rain this morning, sun at 24 in afternoon. I mowed the lawn today.

Tour of harbour

This is the view of the Charlottetown waterfront from out in the harbour.

We took at tour of Charlottetown and the harbour, this was our tour guide.

There was some question if 60 year old vessel would float, and yes it floated, but not fast.
This evening I cycled the trail from Milton to Hazel Grove and back, about 40 km.
Sunny day with a high of 24 with light wind. Presently it down to 16.

Started raining this morning and by 7:00 the gauge was showing 18 mm.

No one using the ball field today, it will take overnight to dry out. no cycling today.

Deep sea fishing

This is coming into Rustico harbour as we return from a deep sea fishing trip.

These building are on the outer edge of the harbour. It was a good day for a cruise, light wind, sunshine and a temp of 24. The sea gulls are following the boat waiting for bits of fish as the helper was filleting the fish. No cycling today.

Lady Slippers

This evening I was cycling from Richmond to Portage, it was in Portage were I saw these Lady Slippers. We had a short rain shower in Portage as well.

This photo was taken yesterday in the Cardigan area. This year there seems to be lots of Lady Slipper flowers, some years I am lucky to see one bunch.
I attended a funeral of a neighbor this morning. After lunch I had to replace two broken spokes in rear wheel of Cypress. Mostly sunny in mid twenty's.
