Hillsborough river

We had puffy clouds again today with a high of 22.
I attended a trail meeting this afternoon and the evening I cycled from Brackley to Mount Stewart and back logging about 50 km.

I spend the day helping a neighbor and attended a meeting this evening. No cycling

Fallen tree

I was cycling with another TO this evening when we came to this tree on the trail. We were in the Kinkora area.

Bales of straw in a field in Albany, some nice clouds as well.
We cycled from Emerald to Borden and back, about 35 km for the trip, early this morning the wind was gusting in the 70-80 km/h range. Temp was in low twenty's.

Adam's parade.

The Stanley Cup was in Cornwall for the day, Adam McQuaid is a member of the Boston team.

They were lucky that the rain held off, there was a light shower during the parade but the heavy rain didn't start until around 3:00.

I cycled to Cornwall to take the photos, so I got a few km cycling today.
You probably can't see the difference but starting with the air show photos are with a new camera, I upgraded to a Canon A1200. So far today we got 15 mm of rain but the was not very strong.

Summerside Air show

The Snowbirds put on a great show. It was a great day for the show, light wind, sunny and 25.

This rocket powered truck claimed that it would go 350 mph. It was fast and made lots of smoke.
Busy day but no cycling. Breakfast meeting, then to Summerside, about 75 minutes of stop & go traffic to get into the parking lot at the show, got home at 6:30 and mowed the lawn.

No cycling, yard work and to dinner theater this evening.

This photo was just west of Freetown. This evening with another TO, we cycled from North Wiltshire to Kensington logging about 40 km.
Mostly sunny at 22 with a fair wind, gusting to 30 km/h.

Harvest time

Potato field also in Hampshire, A good crop of vines, if the tubers are doing as well, it should be a good crop.
This evening I cycled from Milton to Hazel Grove and back.
Sunny with a high of 23.

It was late when I got home last night so that is why posting in morning.
Tuesday evening I cycled with another TO from Richmond to Bloomfield, about 50 km.

St Peters bay

Late afternoon I was cycling between St Peters and Mount Stewart, this photo is about half way along the bay, my guess is the bay is 12-14 km long.

This is the end of the bay where it opens to the Gulf of St. Lawrence, with Greenwich on the right. Windy today 40 gusting to 50 km/h. It started to sprinkle rain as I finished the bike ride and has being raining all evening. Temp was 24.

This evening I was to the Ceilidh at Afton hall to hear Courtney Hogan, with her is Todd on the Sax and Gordon on the right.

The end of the Confederation Trail is in Elmira and marker 273.

This evening I got a ride with another TO to Harmony Junction and the two of us cycled to Elmira and back, about 30 km.

Crow

This photo taken a few days ago of a crow in flight.

Taken the same day in the Freetown area, I believe it is part of a irrigation system.
Light rain and drizzle most of the day at 16. Another rest day as no cycling today but I donated plasma this evening. I caused a little excitement by having my arm start to bleed in the kitchen after the donation, so I was back on the cot for a few more minutes.

This evening I cycled from home to the park, then on the trail Suffolk and back to Sherwood road and the home, logged about 45 km.
Nice evening for cycling, no wind and about 24.

The other evening near Glen Valley I came around a turn and this herd was looking at me. After giving me a look they turned and went off the trail into a bean field.
no cycling, I was attending a family social in Hampshire, A good day for sitting outside, mostly sunny at 25.

Cattails and apples

This part of thr trail is in Tracadie Cross, lots of cattails on the left.

There is lots of apple trees along the edge of the trail, the story is the passengers on the trains when eating apples, tossed the cores out the windows.
Mostly sunny with a high of 23. This evening I cycled from Brackley to Scotchfort and back. Also cut the grass, this is the second cut this week.

The sun came out this afternoon and the temp went to 25. This photo was taken around 8:00 PM as the sun was setting.

Rabbit

This rabbit was on the trail west of Hunter River.

This field of barley just west of Freetown will soon be ready for the combine.
This afternoon I got dropped of in Kensington, I then cycled to Hunter River, Then cycled to Glen Valley and back to Hinter River then onto Milton, total for the afternoon is 68 km.
Mostly a misty day with a couple of sunny breaks at 20.

Miscouche

This evening I cycled with another TO from Summerside to Richmond, The trail where the photo was taken, is as straight as a arrow for nearly 5 km.
I mowed the lawn after lunch, a little damp but it had to be done.
Light mist at times this evening at a temp of 19.

3 bridges

This is the Morell river bridge, it is the longest of the three bridges.

The next bridge is in Marie and I am thinking it is the smallest.

This is Midgell river bridge and is the newest as it was rebuilt last year.
I started cycling in St Peters and cycled to Mount Stewart, then cycled back to St Peters with a group of seven cyclists, round trip was 53 km.
It was misty in the morning but sunny in the afternoon at a high of 25.

Auctions

I was at a corn boil at the shore last night and didn't get home til late, so that is why I am posting in the morning.
Yesterday I was to a rural auction in Greenfield, a good turnout and a nice sunny day at 22.
And I didn't buy anything.
