Flowers by the trail

I believe this to be a Morning Glory

Photos were taken near the Sherwood road. Sunny at 27 today.
I cycled from the Charlottetown mall to the Sherwood road for a photo opt with another Trail Officer this afternoon. Late afternoon I attended a committee meeting at the town office.

Part of the group of cyclists that were taking part in the Monday evening ride, photo taken in Milton. I cycled from home to the Charlottetown mall, then on the trail to Milton and back to Sherwood on the trail and then home using the road and logging 34 km.

Tadpole bike

I saw this bicycle on the trail while I was out on Saturday, the two front wheels steer with a single drive wheel on the rear.

The trail officers just before the parade started on Saturday at Dundas.

Mostly sunny with a high 27 This afternoon I cycled around Cornwall logging 30 km.

Today I drove to Dundas and took part in the Parade along with eight other Trail Officers.
I then drove to Montague and cycled the trail, Montague to Georgetown and then to Cardigan and then back to Montague logging 42 km.

Rabbit

I saw three rabbits at difference locations this evening.

These photos were taken about 2 km east of the 48 Road.
Mostly sunny in the low twenty's today. I was to the town office and to the mall this morning.
After lunch the cable repair man was here checking the cable, he installed a pre-amplifier.
I then mowed the front lawn. I then drove to Mount Stewart and cycled to Cardigan and back to Mount Stewart logging 55 km in just over three hours.

It has rained all day and as of now my rain gauge is showing 75 mm (3 inches) Temp is around 22.

I attended a committee meeting at 3:30 at the town office. After supper I drove to North Wiltshire and then cycled to Breadalbane and back to North Wiltshire logging 41 km.

Old Station in Alberton

The old train station in Alberton is of stone construction.

This morning we got the new 6 element antenna in place. This late afternoon I got a ride to Elmsdale with another TO. I then cycled to Tignish passing though Alberton on the way and logging 27 km. I got picked up in Tignish and given a ride back home.

This 3 element beam is to be taken down and replaced with a 6 element one

I bet you can guess who one of the riggers is.

The tower is 48 feet in height. We worked at it all afternoon and did get it down, now the job for tomorrow is to get the replacement antenna up. No cycling as when you are on a tower, you can't cycle.

I cycled into Charlottetown to get photos of the parade. After lunch I mowed the lawn. I had to make another trip to the bike shop as I had another spoke break in the rear wheel last evening.

Sunny at 28 with light wind. This afternoon I cycled to Charlottetown and back home by the way of Winsloe logging 26 km. This evening I got a ride to St Peters, then with another TO we cycled to Souris logging 36 km.

The staff have done a good job of the flowers at the town hall.

A garter snake crossing the Ferry road makes it safely across.

It only has a couple more feet to go.
I cycled around the town this morning, changed the oil & filter in the 07 car this afternoon and attended a council meeting this evening.

Wildlife area at Mount Stewart



Last evening on the way home I had a spoke in the rear wheel break, so I was off to the cycle shop to have it replaced this morning. This evening I started cycling in York and cycled to Rte 232 east of Mount Stewart and back to York logging 52 km.

There was 12 in the group for the evening ride, in the photo we are taking a rest in York.
I cycled to the mall, then rode the trail to Bedford and back to Milton and then the road home. I had a rain shower for the last 15 minutes. I logged 47 km for the evening.

Blue berries

The bins at the back of the machine that collect the berries, I am surprised on how little leaves and twigs are in with the berries.
I donated plasma in the morning, cut the grass in the afternoon and this evening I drove to Melville and then cycled to Murray River with another TO and then we cycled back to Melville logging 40 km for the trip.

Sunny at 20 but a frost warning for parts of the island tonight.
This afternoon I started cycling in North Wiltshire and cycled to Emerald and back to North Wiltshire taken a little over three hours and logging 50 km.

Sunny at 24 today. I spent all morning reinstalling the virus program on the computer and doing a defragment of the hard drive. I attended a committee meeting at 4:30 and after supper I cycled into Charlottetown and took the trail out to Milton and had logged 31 km by the time I got home.

Sunny at 24. In the afternoon I cycled from Milton to Hazel Grove and back on the Confederation trail logging 42 km. This evening I attended a Ceilidh, it was very good, Courtney was good with the fiddle and Todd was excellent on the Sax.

Rain most of the day a 20, cleared at supper time so I cycled to the Charlottetown and cycled the trail to North Wiltshire and then back to Milton and took the road home logging 40 km.

I cycled to the Charlottetown and on the trail to Suffolk, then back to Milton and then took the road home logging 40 km. Sunny with the temp in mid 20's.
