Sunset

 Late afternoon I took a walk over to the business park, a little bit of snow on the ground.
The high temperature for the day was -6.

Mostly cloudy but the sun was peeking out a bit as I was on my way home.

Another windy day

I was cycling again today, I cycled to UPEI, then took the trail to Milton by the fire school and the the roads home. Much warmer today, a high of 13 but the wind was out of the west gusting to 60+ km/h.
This evening I had dinner with the radio club. The trees are now bare and the trail has a lot of Larch neddles on it. This photo is near the Brackley point road.

Cycling today

 Flag at the cannons.

 Charlottetown waterfront, wind gusting to 50+ km/h.
A ship was unloading gravel or crushed rock.
I cycled to Charlottetownm took the trail to Winsloe, then the roads home. The wind was out of the SW, so it was a bit of a workout coming across the causeway/bridge.

Visit wood lot

 I spend the afternoon at the wood lot, the sun was getting low for this photo.

 The moss still green in places.

Although no snow in the woods, there was enough to cover the grass in the clearing.

Lots of water

 As we had over 70 mm of rain in the day or so, seems like lots of water now in the swamp.

I was out for 75 minutes walking, all the way to the business park and had the buck saw so did a little trail maintenance. GPS  said I had walked 2.9 km.
A overcast day with a bits of snow in the air at a cool -3. At one time today the windchill was -10.

 This afternoon I walked the woods to the business park. These trees at the edge of the park are really growing.

The grass in the stubble is green for November 22. Light rain all day with a temperature of 13

Red Shores

 I had breakfast there with the retired firefighters this morning.

Late afternoon I was in the woods marking some trails with the red ribbon.
Light rain all day at a warm 8 and a light wind.

Home

No cycling today, I rebuilt a snowmobile carburetor for a neighbor, finished gathering up leaves, and cleaned leaves out of the gutters. Then went for a 45 minute walk in the woods with a neighbor.
Overcast at 6 with a 20-30 km/h wind.

Cycling St Peters

 Today I was cycling Morell / St Peters area. This blueberry field is west of Morell.

 The Morell bridge.

 These geese and the fisherman pulling a mussel line were both in St Peters bay.

Mostly overcast with a few sunny breaks, temperature 3 with a light wind. I saw two other cyclists and six walkers.

A little bit of snow

 I was to the wood lot today, a little snow on the ground.
 I walked the trails and all are in good condition, no more trees down.

This evening I was to the annual Cycling PEI meeting, Along with two other cyclists, we got a award for our volunteering with cycling events during the past summer.
Today's weather was a mixed bag with a bit of everything, temp around 3

Snow pellets

 Only four in the cycling group today, as a group we cycled from Sherwood road to Suffolk and back. But I cycled from home so I had around 40 km for the afternoon.

Near York there was a shower of snow pellets, enough to be seen on the leaves.

 I was out for a walk in thw woods with the buck saw, and opened up a bit more trail.

 Will need the chain saw for this tree, for now just ducking under it.

The new bridge is still looking good and feels quite strong.

 This afternoon I had a guided tour of the MacPhail woods in Selkirk. There was about 20 people in the group and it was a little over two hours.

Rain day

 Today I took a hour long walk in the woods, some water in the swamp area.

 I had the buck saw with me so did some work on the trail in the woods by the business park.

There seems to be a lot of fallen trees since the last wind storm.
We got about 20 mm of rain with the temperature a high of 8

Today I cycled into Charlottetown and then took the trail to Winsloe, the needles still on the Larch but will soon fall off.  A sunny day at 8 with a light wind.

Hunter River

 Today I cycled from North Wiltshire to Breadalbane and return. This photo of the trail is located west of Hunter River.

This one was taken in Greenvale, all the leaves are on the ground from the maples trees here.
A cool day at2 with a strong NW wind at 30 km/h gusting 45 at times.

 Today I cycled to Charlottetown, photo is of the convention center next to the Delta hotel.

 There was a gravel ship unloading today as well.

I then cycled the trail to Winsloe, lots of vehicles at the Farmers market.
Sunny at 14 but a 50 km/h west wind.

Yard work

 Today I dug my Gladiolas bulbs, about 6 dozen.
 I will let fry for a few days before cutting the tops back.

 I spread the compost on the gaeden and raked it out.

Down tree & setting sun

 Late afternoon I had a hour long walk in the woods, This big spruce was down across the trail.

 I had a buck saw with so I was able to remove some limbs and made it so I could walk under it.

The needles on this juniper are starting to change colour. I spend most of the day around home.
