Potato field

Mostly sunny with a low of -4 and a high of 13 in last 24 hours. I was to the QEH in morning for a ECG test as part of my annual check up. In afternoon I drove to Milton and then cycled to Hunter River and back to Milton on Aspen logging 35 km. 10 km on EB as well. At home this evening.

Big move

In the last 24 hours, the low was -5 and the high 10. A few sunny breaks in morning and late afternoon with showers mid day. 10 km on EB, almost went out on Aspen but decided road too wet. Photos are of a piece of power equipment being moved in South Carolina, locals said it weighted 900 ton. The rear trailer bogie was being repaired but I counted 18 axles on front bogie for at least 108 tires on it. There was 3 tractors pulling and two pushing.

Lawn and leaves

Overcast with sunny breaks in afternoon. Low for day was -4 and the high was 3.
I had a breakfast meeting with the retired firefighters this morning. In the afternoon I run the lawn mower over the lawn again picking up leaves. I now have a bin of the compost bins full and the other half full. Photos are of compost bin and lawn. 10 km on EB.

Cattle

Windy with gusts to 80 km, rain and snow pellets a low temp of -1 and a high of 4
I donated plasma this morning and visited a sister on the way home. Worked in my shop in afternoon. 10 km on EB.

Trees

Sunny breaks in afternoon at 6. I cut down 2 poplars trees, one was dead, the other was getting too big. This evening I attended a public meeting on changes to town planning bylaw.

Peaches

Overcast with sunny breaks at a high of 5. I used the lawn mower to pick up leaves in afternoon.
Attended Radio club meeting this evening. No cycling today.

Cotton fields

I arrived home at 5:30 PM today logging 2,650 km on the car over the last three days. Light rain at 4. Photos are of cotton plant and a cotton field in South Carolina.
