Clean car

The car was almost white with the road salt on it, I don't like to wash at -10 but the sun was shining.
So this is what it looks like 4 minutes at Wash World. 4 minutes costs only $3.00.
After washing the car I took a 60 minute walk though the woods to the business park.
Then watched some curling.

Another down tree

 I am making a new trail in the woods near home, so I cut a piece out of this old tree.

The evening sun was casing long shadows as I was walking home. A cool day with the temperature around -10

Another down tree

 I have cut of as much as I can with buck saw. A little bit of snow this morning.

I will need the chain saw to cut it back to the tree line. I am about 20 minutes from home.
It was +1 and rain showers when I was out, I was out for 90 minutes.

Cold day

 I was out walking for a couple hours, I stopped at this tree and took a few more branches off it.

 -19 with a windchill of -30 and it has been cold for a week but spring is still open and the water grass is green.

All these tracks are coyote, so I would say a group had a meal here.  This evening I watched some mixed curling.

Winter River

 I hiked the Winter River trail this morning, a little over 6 km.  Cold at -15 but no wind.

 The old cabin is still standing but starting show some dekay.

I was cycling for a couple hours after lunch, I saw this silver fox near Belvedere Ave.
It wa a little warmer in the afternoon, about -11 with sun.

Down tree

 Around 3:00 I went for a walk towards the business park. I took a few minutes and removed a few limbs of this tree that had blown down.

As I was getting home I took this photo of the setting sun. It was -18 all day with the wind chill around -30.
The wind has become lighter this evening.

Early sun

The sun breaking though the clouds around 9:00 AM. I was visiting neighbors at the chicken barn.
Over the lunch hour I donated plasma, then did some shopping on the way. Did not get to have a walk today.
