A stand of Larch trees

The larch tree is difference in that its needles turn colour from green to a rust brown in the fall.

This stand is near the Sears store in Charlottetown.
We had a few sunny breaks in the morning, cloudy in the afternoon at 16.
This morning I visited some neighbors, after lunch I had a walk in the woods, I tried moving a log that was crossing the creek, and I stepped in the creek and the water went right over the top of my rubber boot. It is surprising how quick a boot fills with water. I dumped out the water but still had a wet foot for the walk home.
