Toronto

I had a little side trip on Saturday and got to see the last three innings of a Blue Jay game which they won 5-2.
No cycling while I was in Toronto and I see the grass needs to be cut.

Windy day

Overcast with showers with winds gusting to 60 km at 8 makes for a cold day. No cycling today.
This evening I was to a Trail Officers meeting in St Peters lake for lobster.
Tomorrow I am of to Toronto for the weekend to attend the annual FCM annual conference.

Moon

Almost a full moon rising this evening. Light rain in morning, cleared in the afternoon.

This morning I drove to Summerside and had my first visit to the Prince Country Hospital.
I dd some yard work for my daughter in the afternoon and attended a church meeting in the evening.

Rain day

Raining all day and it was needed. I attended a Trail Officers meeting in the morning, transplanted some trees in the rain in the afternoon and played cards this evening in Warren Grove.

Sunny most of the day, clouded over in the evening, at one time during the day it was up to 28, but only 11 as I post this. Cut the grass in the morning, yard work in the afternoon. This evening starting at 5:45, I cycled to Charlottetown mall, then on the trail to Hampshire and then back home logging 40 km.

There is about 200 meters of railing along the embankment.
Sunny with a high temp of 23. In the afternoon We attended a family picnic in Hampshire, Later on I went to Milton and cycled to Hunter River and back logging 37 km.

Trail ride

Mostly sunny with a high of 22. First thing this morning I had breakfast with the hams. I then cycled to the Farmers market. I then cycled to Milton on the trail with the group and then cycled back to the Charlottetown Mall and on home logging 33 km. After lunch I worked in the garden and planted, peas, carrots, onions & beets.

Mostly sunny with a high of 12, it was down to 8 when I finished cycling.
I donated plasma this morning, after lunch I cycled to the town office and checked some of the town trails. This evening I drove to York and cycled to Mount Stewart and back to York logging 56 km. for the day.

Rest day

Rain overnight and cloudy til late afternoon. High temp of 15. I was to Cornwall in the morning and spend the afternoon in the shop working on a tree bench. No cycling so I consider it a rest day from cycling. But very little rest. Keeping a ear to the hockey as I check my email and make this post.

New car

Guess who got a new set of wheels today?

It is a G3, she had my G3 for a drive last week, and she liked it so much she went got one of her own.
Mostly sunny at 18, calling for rain tonight and it is needed. No cycling today, attended a meeting in town this morning, yard work this afternoon and council meeting this evening.

The photos were taken in the Darlington area. Sunny and a high of 23. More yard work this morning. At 4:00 PM I started cycling in Milton and cycled to Kinkora area logging 49 km.

Monday night ride

Over 20 riders turned out for the Monday evening ride starting at the Sherwood road. The police were on hand to stress the need for wearing helmets, I believe the plan is to use the photo in a news release. Sunny most of the day at 12. In the morning I visited a neighbor and was to the town office. Yard work in the afternoon and this evening cycled to the Joe Ghiz park and the to Sherwood road and home logging 25 km. Then I visited a cousin the is going home in the morning to PA.

Trail ride

15 riders turned out this morning for a two hour ride, we started at the Farmers Market.
I cycled from home so I logged 33 km for the morning. After lunch I cut the grass and did some more yard work. Mostly cloudy for the day at 10.

New wheels

My new wheels is a 2010 Pontiac G3
mostly sunny at a high of 12. I was busy in the morning picking up the car, after lunch drove to Milton and cycled to Hunter River and back on the trail. At 4:00 I went to meeting that lasted ontil after 9:00. Trying watch the hockey game as I do this.

Work of the beaver

The beavers make good sized chips when felling a tree.

The stream was just on the other side of the trail.

They had taken all the smaller branches, my guess spring came before they got it all moved but I think they were planning taking all of it.
Sunny in the morning, cloud moved in late afternoon and the rain started in evening, high was around 15. I attended a breakfast meeting in the morning and the cut the lawn. After lunch I drove to North Wiltshire and then cycled the trail to Emerald and back to North Wiltshire logging 50 km for the trip. I am watching hockey this evening.

The wind caused this dead tree to break and fall on the trail.

Sunny with cloudy times and windy, high of 14. Meeting and errands this morning. Yard work in afternoon. I went cycling at 5:30 and cycled the trail from Milton to Darlington and logged 23 km.

Sunny this morning, cloudy in afternoon and rain this evening, high for the day was 20.
I attended a trail meeting in the morning and after lunch I went cycling, Brackley to Tracadie Cross and back logging 38 km. It started to rain as I was taking the bike rack off the car.

Mostly sunny with a high 14. Working in the shop this morning and after lunch worked the garden. I attended a meeting at 4:00 and another at 7:00 and got home at 10:00. no cycling today.

Seems like everyone in Vancouver has a sail boat, photo taken from the bridge, bridge in the background would be the Granville street bridge.

Seems like every bay and inlet was full of boats.

Cloudy this morning but sunny in the afternoon, cool at 12 and windy. Attended a town meeting in morning, worked around for a while in afternoon, went cycling at 3:45, cycled from Milton to Hunter River and back logging 33 km.

Grouse mountain

On Thursday I rode the cable car up about 1,000 meters.

The view of North Vancouver, Stanley Park and English bay from 2/3 of the way up.

Still lots of snow on the mountain, temp was 2 at the time.

Cloudy with sunny breaks and a high temp of 18.
This afternoon I cycled to the mall, took the trail to the Loyalist road, then cycled home by the road logging 26 km.
