I started cycling 15 years ago for the exercise.
Motto: Slow and steady is the way to go.
I now spend a lot of time on the trail as a volunteer.
I like to travel as well, normally by car but for the long distances I will fly.
It was -1 with light wind when I left home at 1:00 PM, I cycled to Victoria Park where the sea gulls are resting on the grass. After leaving the park I cycled across town to the Confederation trail and cycled on it to Winsloe.
I got back home at 3:00 and this photo was taken a few minutes from home at the Super 8 motel.
The temp now is -4 and the wind 30-35 km/h out of the west with light snow in the air. The flags are straight out. The last couple of km across the causeway was a bit of a work out as the wind was right in my face.
