Storm

 It was back to the snowshoes today, I was out for a hour and travelled the middle loop to the Business park.

 It was snowing with the wind gusting to 70 km/h at -5. The whole island is closed, IE the schools and government offices.

I was looking towards the house across the street but not a sign of it with the drifting snow.
Forecast is for up to 30 cm of snow and winds up to 110 km/h around midnight.
There will take a while to dig out in the morning.
