After lunch I drove to Mount Herbert and started cycling from there. Mount Herbert is next to Stratford.
The first photo is the start of the trail in Mount Herbert.
This rest area is in Mount Albion, the trail in this area is very soft, the fine gravel has not been rolled yet.
I was using the old bike with the bigger tires.
I turned to go back at the Hemlock trees in Lake Verde, it was about 16 km one way.
This double culvert is dated 1930 is located in Mount Albion. Sort of interesting to see what was used for rebar. Overcast all day with a very light breeze with a afternoon high of 8.
