I started cycling 15 years ago for the exercise.
Motto: Slow and steady is the way to go.
I now spend a lot of time on the trail as a volunteer.
I like to travel as well, normally by car but for the long distances I will fly.
In the morning I cycled from Mt Stewart to Peaks and return, about 25 km.
After lunch I joined the firefighters at the annual Cenotaph parade in Cornwall.
Then a neighbor asked me to join him in playing 9 holes of golf at the Strathgartney Highlands course.
First time this season, so my score is not worth reporting.
Sunny with a high of 24 but windy, gusting ti 60km/h at times.
